Taylor Swift stuff

~ FEARLESS SONGS PART 1 ~

Hi :)

There's quite a lot of songs on this album, so I'm gonna do this over several parts because this takes a really long time (because I cannot make decisions fytffyt) and I do not have enough of an attention span to do 26 songs at once T^T - but I will try to do the rest of the songs asap.

One thing though: I'm going camping and doing a super long walk this weekend (I don't want to go 😭) so I might not be able to update, but I should have wifi so I will try to if I have time.

Anyways, here's the update.

FEARLESS:

Favourite line - 'there's something 'bout the way, the street looks when it's just rained, there's a glow off the pavement.'

Meaning - this song is about the feelings present when a new relationship begins (I'm getting most of these meanings from genius lyrics-)

Opinion - I love this song! It's a great way to open the album, the beginning is iconic, and it just sums up the fearless album so well in my opinion.

FIFTEEN:

Favourite line - 'and when you're fifteen, don't forget to look before you fall.'

Meaning - Taylor wrote this song about her best friend, Abigail Anderson, and her first year of high school. 

Opinion - This song has kind of grown on me recently. I don't listen to it much tbh and it's not one of my favourites from fearless, but I really do like it. I think it perfectly encapsulates how it feels to be in love for the first time as a teenager, and you can bet I'm gonna blast this song on my fifteenth birthday next year lol.

LOVE STORY:

Favourite line - 'this love is difficult, but it's real.'

Meaning - I actually know this one! Taylor wrote this song in around 20 minutes about someone her parents wouldn't let her date.

Opinion - One word: ICONIC. This is the poster fearless song, and I LOVE IT. Honestly, there's not much else that needs to be said about this song.

HEY STEPHEN:

Favourite line - 'Hey Stephen, why are people always leaving? I think you and I should stay the same.'

Meaning - This song is about a guy Taylor had a crush on (Stephen Barker Liles).

Opinion - I actually love this song so much. I don't hear a lot of people talking about it, which I sad, because I think it's really underrated.

WHITE HORSE:

Favourite line - 'this is a big world, that was a small town, there in my rear view mirror disappearing now.'

Meaning - this song is about thinking you are going to have a fairytale future with someone, and then finally realising that isn't going to happen.

Opinion - this is one of those songs that I don't think of when I think of my favourite songs from fearless, but when it comes on I really like it.

YOU BELONG WITH ME:

Favourite line - 'and you've got a smile that could light up this whole town.'

Meaning - this song is about a boy Taylor liked who was too wrapped up in a toxic relationship to see how much Taylor liked him.

Opinion - Ah, the other poster fearless song. I get a warm feeling inside when I think of this song because I just love it so muchhhh.

BREATHE:

Favourite line - 'music starts playing like the end of a sad movie, it's the kind of ending you don't really wanna see.'

Meaning - This song is about the end of a friendship (omg I didn't know this, it's gonna kill me next time I listen to it because so many of my friendships have ended recently 😭)

Opinion - not my favourite, but I do love it a lot, as with all of Taylor's songs.

TELL ME WHY:

Favourite line - 'and I need you like a heartbeat, but you know you got a mean streak that makes me run for cover when you're around.'

Meaning - This song is about a boy that Taylor liked but who treated her badly.

Opinion - I like this song. It's not my favourite, but I still like it.

YOU'RE NOT SORRY:

Favourite line - 'could've loved you all my life if you hadn't left me waiting in the cold.'

Meaning - this song is about one of Taylor's exes who turned out to be the opposite of who he originally appeared to be.

Opinion - I lowkey really love this song. It sort of hints at a different side to Taylor that will return  later.
