Let's ignore the fact it's been like 3 months because I've been ridiculously busy with school and mock exams and just do the update-

THE MOMENT I KNEW:

Meaning - this song is about when Jake Gyllenhaal didn't come to Taylor's 21st birthday party :(

Opinion - I actually really like this song. I forget about it sometimes but it's so good.

COME BACK... BE HERE:

Favourite line - 'the delicate beginning rush, the feeling you can know so much without knowing anything at all.'

Meaning - this song is basically Taylor missing someone idk how else to explain it

Opinion - although this song isn't my favourite, I do still really like it (I feel like I say this for 90% of the songs lmao)

GIRL AT HOME:

Favourite line - 'but, honey, I am no one's exception, this I have previously learned.'

Meaning - this song is about a guy trying to flirt with Taylor even though everyone knows he already has a girlfriend.

Opinion - this song is so underrated, I love it so much! I remember when red tv (why did I only just realise it looks like we're talking about a tv that's red whenever we talk about red tv lmao💀) was first released and being so shocked when this song started because Taylor completely changed the production. I can't remember what it sounded like before anymore really but I think it was a lot more country, and now Taylor made it more pop, probably because she doesn't have anyone telling her that she needs to be country anymore. Anyways, I love it even more now because it sounds even better. 

RONAN: 

(skipping state of grace acoustic because I already said everything in the other section, other than I prefer the normal version but idk why because normally I'm an acoustic girlie)

Favourite line - honestly the whole song but here's the main ones:

1. 'You were my best four years.' <3

Meaning - this song is about a three-year-old boy called Ronan who died of cancer </3 Taylor read Ronan's mum's blog about his journey and decided to write a song about Ronan.

Opinion - THIS SONG. Where do I even begin? It's such a beautiful song but I hardly ever listen to it because it just makes me cry. It's so so sad, and it breaks my heart even though it's such an amazing song.

BETTER MAN:

Favourite line - 'but your jealousy, oh I can hear it now, talking down to me, like I'd always be around, push my love away like it was some kind of loaded gun, oh you'd never have thought I'd run.' and 'I hold onto this pride because these days it's all I have, and I gave to you my best and we both know you can't say that.'

Meaning - this song is about leaving a toxic relationship but still missing the good parts of it, even though you know why you had to leave. 

Opinion - I love this song so much!! It was a grower for me but I'm obsessed with it now.

NOTHING NEW:

Favourite line - time to annoy you guys so much lmao-

They tell you while you're young, "girls, go out and have your fun" then they hunt and slay the ones who aaaactually do it. Criticise the way you fly, when you're soaring through the skyy, shoot you down and then they sigh, and say "she looks like she's been through it." Opinion - I think y'all already know what I'm about to say-

I. AM. OBSESSED. WITH. THIS. SONG. TAYLOR AND PHOEBE BETTER PAY FOR ME TO GO TO THERAPY BECAUSE I DEFINITELY NEED IT. I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH, IT'S ABOUT FAME BUT I RELATE IT TO MY FEAR OF MY FRIENDS GETTING BORED OF ME AND OMGGG IT BREAKS MY SOUL BUT IN A GOOD WAY. I LOVE IT SO SO SO MUCH OMG!!
