Harry Potter:

During your sixth year at Hogwarts, you found yourself torn between your feelings for both Harry and Ron. The three of you had been spending a lot of time together (alongside Hermione) both inside and outside of classes. They both had a special place in your heart, and you knew they reciprocated when you heard swirling rumours from the other students in the hallways of Hogwarts.

Unknown to you, the boys had already made a pact with each other about keeping their relationship with you strictly platonic. Harry's loyalty to Ron and their friendship held him back from admitting to you how he had been feeling for a while now. It was almost painful for people like Hermione to watch the two of you still pine for each other when you were so obviously in love. You just wished for the day that Ron's little crush would dissipate into nothing and you and Harry could make up for all the time lost to being forced to stay friends.

Ron Weasley:

You had spent a lot of time with the Weasleys during the summer holidays and found yourself developing romantic feelings for Ron. While you were clear about your emotions for the youngest Weasley brother, in the last week of your stay, you noticed Ron becoming somewhat colder and more distant than he had been at the beginning of the holidays.

It wasn't until Ginny shared that all the Weasleys had observed you laughing and spending more time with Fred over the past few days, rather than with Ron. You hadn't even realized it until she pointed it out – Fred's flirty remarks suddenly made more sense to you. Despite knowing your heart belonged to Ron, you understood that his jealousy might prevent him from seeing past this.

Ron's concerns stemmed from his older brother's charismatic personality, fearing that Fred might win you over and leaving Ron to question his own worthiness. The summer ended with an argument between the two of you about your feelings, Ron accusing you of having feelings for Fred while you tried to assure him that it wasn't the case. It seemed that convincing Ron of your true feelings might take the entire school year, but you were determined to do whatever it took to get your message across.

Draco Malfoy:

There was nothing Draco hated more than when the other Slytherin house members flirted with you. Everyone in Draco's dorm harboured not-so-secret crushes on you, and it seemed like a competition among them to see who might be fortunate enough to win your affection. Draco couldn't help but watch on in defeat, steam flying out of his ears as he observed the other boys attempting to make you laugh and offering to carry your books from class to class.

Draco engaged in tireless arguments with Blaise, Crabbe, Goyle... anyone who dared speak more than two words to you. Jealousy was a struggle he had to contend with on his own, and despite your genuine feelings for him, you believed it was something he needed to work on before you could be together. You held onto the hope that he would address these issues before it became too late for both of you and before another person entered the picture.

Fred Weasley:

Fred couldn't help but feel a tinge of insecurity whenever he saw you spending time with George. Everyone recognized that between the two of them, George was considered the more 'caring' one while Fred held the role of leader in their pranks. He had noticed that you seemed to engage in your deep conversations with George when he wasn't around, and that George was the one you turned to when you needed a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen.

As days went by, Fred's sense of insecurity grew stronger, a bubbling jealousy building within him. He decided to confront his twin about his feelings, hoping to urge George to step back. However, the confrontation only created more distance between them, as George confessed that he, too, held some romantic feelings for you.
