It has now been a month since Ambrosine's mother died. Just like Ophelia requested her daughter shall live with the Alpheus upon her death.
A 10 year old rosy is sitting in her room staring at the window admiring the view.
"I miss you so much mom" she sighs
A knock was heard and 8 years old Jennette entered.
"Sister Rosy, can we play doll?" The brunette asked
Rosy smiled "Yes jetty" she got up and walked towards Jetty "Let's play" she said to the younger girl
Meanwhile at the imperial palace
The maids where chasing after a blonde haired princess.
"Your highness please stop running"
"Princess please stop, if you fall his majesty will certainly have our heads"
"Princess no chocolates for a whole week"
The princess finally stopped upon hearing her nanny's threats.
"Lily, I wanna see father" the princess cutely looked at her nanny
The nanny named Lily could do nothing except smile and nod.
"Yes your highness"
Soon the maid and the princess walked towards the imperial palace only to bump into someone along the way.
"Greetings your grace" Lily said to the white haired man
"Blessings and glory upon the obelian empire, I greet the princess" the Duke greeted
'isn't this Roger Alpheus, ain't this one of my death flags' Athanasia thought
"Hello Mr White" the princess smiled mischievously
"It is Duke Roger Alpheus your highness" The Duke politely corrected the young princess.
Athanasia cheekily smiled, "but Athy thinks mr.white suits you better" she innocently said
The duke could only do nothing but nod, "say Princess isnt it boring without a playmate?" The duke asked
"No it isn't i have Lily here with me" Athanasia answered immediately.
"Oh but isn't it important for you to hangout with kids your age." The duke pestered
"I have a ward back at home a young girl just the princess's age" the duke added
'Oh no is he gonna make me friends with Jenette' athanasia thought
"but athy wants a friend who is as smart as Athy, athy dont like stupid friend" she said
"well i have a son just a few years older he is very smart, and it is embarrassing for me to say but he takes after me" the duke smugly said
"if he's anything like mr.white then Athy doesnt need friends anyways bye now" Athanasia dragged Lily away.
Back at the Alpheus Estate
"Sister Rosy, are you okay?" Jennette for the first time saw Ambrosine cry. She didn't know what to do, instead she just hugged Ambrosine.
"Im not very good at comforting but i hope you'll be happy soon sister" Jennette thoughtfully said.
Ambrosine smiled at the little angel in front of her.
"Thank you Jetty" the older girl smiled at the younger girl.
While at a certain emperor's room
"Papa im here" Athy entered Claude's room only to see Claude looking at a picture frame of a beautiful woman.
"Woah she's pretty" she mumbled
She didn't notice but Claude already woke up from his short slumber.
"what are you doing here?" the emperor asked
Athanasia got shocked and looked behind her, "Athy went to visit papa" she smiled cutely
"Athy is curious but who is this lady" Athanasia asked curiously
"felix, bring athanasia back to her palace" the emperor ordered his royal knight.
Athanasia was confused but followed Claude's orders nonetheless.
"felix" athanasia called out
"who is the pretty lady in papa's room?" She asked
Felix didn't know if he was permitted to say it but just answered anyways.
"That princess is his majesty's wife, the empress Ophelia De Alger Obelia" felix thought of the empress as his sister.
"Papa has a wife?" Athanasia asked confusedly.
"Yes but she sadly passed away before the princess was born. Princess could have had an older sister too you know" felix answered
"Older sister?" Athanasia muttered
"Yes" felix answered.
Back to the emperor
"im sorry Ophelia, it was my fault" Claude talked while he was sleeping.
In his dreams
"claude come here" a beautiful woman with purple eyes called out to claude.
"ophelia come back" claude shouted
"Claude why did you kill me? Why did you let me die" Echoes filled the dreams
"No...im sorry Ophelia it was my fault" tears spilled
"Our daughter Ambrosine you killed her" The lady blamed
"no...no they said she wouldn't survive" claude said
"Im sorry" claude added
