---Ro's POV---
Jordan had returned to New York after a few days. I was heart broken, as always. However, I knew I'd see him in a month or so. I decided to distract myself by helping Justine and Alex out with looking at houses. They found the perfect house, but they seem to be arguing over whether or not Alex can place his ring into the backyard.

"I'm telling you," Alex stated. "My boxing ring can fit in the backyard of this place."

"If we put your boxing ring in the backyard," Justine stated. "We'll have no room for the baby to run around when it's older." The two of them began bickering over the ring again. I finally had enough.

"Alex," I asked. "How big is the ring?"

"Who's side are you on?" Justine hissed. I raised my hand at Justine.

"How big is the ring?" I asked.

"Sixteen by sixteen feet." Alex replied. I pulled up the blue prints. I pointed to the basement.

"As you can see," I stated. "The basement has a room that's triple the size of the ring. Alex can put the ring up in the room, the backyard is free for however many kids you'll end up having." Alex looked at Justine.

"Okay," Justine stated. "That room can be the home gym."

"Good." I stated. "Problem solved." Justine leaned back and sighed of relief. Alex sent an offer to the realtor before closing his laptop. Justine rested her head on Alex's shoulder. Alex wrapped his arm around Justine, pulled her closer, and kissed the top of her head. I sighed, thinking about Jordan. Justine looked at me.

"Is everything okay Ro?" Justine asked. I stayed silent for a moment before I spoke up.

"This isn't fair." I stated. "You two get to see each other all the time. I only get to see Jordan so often. It's not fair."

"Why not get him to move here?" Alex asked.

"My brother wouldn't." Justine stated. "Not while he's still working."

"You told me he can practice in most states and territories." Alex stated.

"This is one of two places he can't practice." Justine stated. "California won't let him practice law here. I think when he tried to get the right to practice law in California, the governor wouldn't allow it. He claims 'Mr. Ezarik doesn't know about himself, let alone how to practice law.'" My heart shattered.

"What did he mean by that?" I asked.

"Since Jordan has a different bio dad," Justine stated. "And his dad died before he was born, he doesn't know anything about his dad's side."

"That's awful." I stated.

"Why doesn't he get a DNA kit?" Alex asked.

"He's afraid of what he'll find." Justine replied. "I'd be happy to take the test with him if he wanted, but he isn't sure."

"Why doesn't he retire?" I asked. Justine began to laugh.

"You know Jordan's a workaholic." Justine chuckled. "He only slowed down because of you."

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah." Justine replied. "Why do you think I never mentioned him? He's always working, so he would of made a liar out of me..... He wasn't always like that though."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"He was cheated on in college." Justine stated. "As soon as he found out, he decided to focus on his grades, then his job. Can't get cheated on if you don't fall in love... Until he met you." I smiled faintly and leaned back.

I'm moving to New York. I thought.

---Jordan's POV---
I was stacking some papers and filing them when I heard one of Aimee's kids running down the hall.

"Uncle Jordan!" My nephew, Ross, shouted as he ran towards me. Ross gave me a massive hug. I lifted Ross up and spung him around.

"Hey Buddy!" I beamed. "You keep getting bigger everytime I see you!"

"Really?" Ross asked.

"Yep." I replied. Aimee and her partner, Gyeo-Wool, walked in.

"Ross," Aimee stated. "Go play in Mama's office."

"Okay!" Ross beamed. Ross ran down the hallway and headed to Aimee's office. Gyeo-Wool looked at me.

"Hey Jordan," Gyeo-Wool stated. "I heard you got yourself a girlfriend."

"Yeah," I replied. "Her name is Rosanna. She's a friend of Justine's."

"YouTuber?" Gyeo-Wool asked.

"Yeah." I replied. "Justine actually kind of encouraged our relationship."

"How is that long distance going?" Aimee asked. I sighed.

"Honestly," I stated. "It isn't fair. The one lower 48 state I can't practice law in is the state the best thing that has ever happened to me is in. Why does she have to live in California?"

"Why don't you retire early?" Gyeo-Wool asked. Aimee looked at Gyeo-Wool confused.

"Retire?" Aimee asked. "Jordan? Are you serious?"

"He makes more in a day than most people I know make in a month." Gyeo-Wool stated. "He could of afforded to retire 10 years ago." I thought for a moment.

"She's right," I stated. "I think I should retire and go live in LA. I have wasted the past 23 years of my life working like there's no tomorrow. I want to be with Ro, get married to her, and eventually start a family with her." Aimee nodded.

"What do we do with your share?" Aimee asked.

"You and Leon will buy half a share each." I replied. Gyeo-Wool patted Aimee's shoulder.

"I left Korea for you." Gyeo-Wool pointed out. Aimee sighed.

"Once Leon's out of his meeting," Aimee stated. "We're telling him." I nodded and sighed. I knew I was giving up something I worked for. However, I was giving it up for someone I love. I knew I had to do what's best for my relationship.

Once Leon was out of his meeting, I broke the news to him. Leon was pissed to say the least.

"YOU'RE GIVING UP EVERYTHING," Leon yelled. "FOR A GIRL?! YOU CAN'T JUST GIVE EVERYTHING WE HAD BUILT TOGETHER AS A TRIO FOR A GIRL ON THE OTHERSIDE OF THE COUNTRY!"

"Leon!" Aimee shouted. "Enough!"

"We can't keep the name of the firm!" Leon shouted. "And Casey Law just sounds stupid!"

"Leon," I stated. "I can't stay here."

"Then dump Ro." Leon stated.

"I'm not doing that." I stated. "I'm moving to California. End of discussion."
