---Ro's POV---
I was asleep and cuddled up to Jordan when I was woken up by my phone ringing. I can tell it was The Food Network.

"Can you get that Jordan?" I mumbled. Jordan reached over and picked up my phone.

"Hello," Jordan stated. "This is Rosanna Pansino's phone...... I am not her assistant ma'am, I am her husband...... She's asleep right now..... I mean, she is pregnant, so of course she's going to sleep a lot...... We didn't say anything to her subscribers, so that's why you didn't know she was pregnant..... I will get her to call you back when she's awake..... You too, bye." Jordan hung up, placed my phone down, and wrapped his arms around me.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"The Food Network," Jordan replied. "They want to talk to you about that Halloween baking show." I went to call them back, but Jordan stopped me.

"I should call--" I stated before Jordan cut me off.

"Get some more sleep." Jordan stated. "You've been up all night again."

"I'm carrying twins." I stated. "We're going to be up all night once they come out."

"You need to rest more Ro." Jordan stated. "I worry about you." Jordan kissed my forehead and caressed my cheek.

"I know you're worried." I stated. "However, I think I am more than capable of filming a TV show."

"Sleep first," Jordan stated. "Then you can call them back." I frowned.

"Fine." I stated. I cuddled up to Jordan and closed my eyes. Jordan began playing with my hair and rubbing my back. I heard his phone ring. Jordan picked it up.

"Hello," Jordan stated. "This is Jordan Ezarik...... Ma'am, I retired from Ezarik and Casey Law just over a year ago..... I live in California now..... I moved here to be with my wife...... Ma'am, I am not coming out of retirement and back to New York just because you demand it.... Ma'am, I know you want 'The best on the continent,' but I can't. I can refer you to my only remaining colleague though.... I am not--..... Fine, I'll come out of retirement..... I will see you next Tuesday at 12.... Goodbye." Jordan hung up. I looked at my husband.

"What was that about?" I asked.

"An old client of mine." Jordan stated. "Five years ago, she was falsely accused of stalking her ex husband. This was clearly a case of racism, but unfortunately, it was a different time. The 2010's were rough in the New York justice system." I nodded.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Despite my best efforts," Jordan replied. "The girl landed in jail. However, the ex admitted he lied and now she wants a retrial."

"So why won't you help her?" I asked.

"I'm retired." Jordan replied. "I retired to be with you." I frowned at my husband.

"I wouldn't of minded if you went back for this." I stated. Jordan kissed my forehead.

"Are you sure?" Jordan asked.

"Yes." I replied. "Go to New York and help her."

"Will you be okay?" Jordan asked.

"Yes." I replied. "I will be." Jordan nodded.

"Okay," Jordan stated. "I'll go."

---Jordan's POV---
I arrived in New York City at sunrise. I forgot how cold it was in mid-September. I looked around to see Aimee and Gyeo-Wool waiting. I jogged over to them.

"Hey guys!" I beamed. I ran over and hugged my friends.

"Hey Jordan," Gyeo-Wool stated. "I'm glad you're back for a bit." I nodded.

"I just hope Ro doesn't go into labour while I'm here." I stated.

"And to think," Aimee stated. "If you had two babies on the way less than two years ago, you wouldn't of been so anxious to be there for her."

"I wouldn't say he wouldn't be anxious," Gyeo-Wool stated. "He just wouldn't of been as anxious as he is now."

"I get it." I stated. "Retirement changed me."

"Ro changed you." Aimee stated. Gyeo-Wool nodded in agreement.

"Ro didn't change me." I stated.

"Yes she did." Gyeo-Wool stated. "You were a workaholic when I met you."

"I went home at the end of the day." I stated.

"You had twenty years worth of unused vacation time when you started dating Ro." Aimee stated. "If I didn't force you to take a vacation to see your sisters, you wouldn't of met Ro and you wouldn't of have the life you have now." I shrugged.

"I do owe my relationship to you." I stated.

"Exactly," Aimee teased. "Now come on, let's get something to eat. Your aunt's excited to see you. She bought clothes for the twins."

"Is Silvia not having kids?" I asked.

"She wants them." Gyeo-Wool stated. "But she broke up with her boyfriend again." I sighed and shook my head.

"Silvia deserves better." I stated.

"So," Aimee stated. "Ro told me that you've applied to UCLA for a teaching position. How's that going?"

"I made it to the third round of interviews." I replied. "After this, I maybe a professor."

"Professor Ezarik-Pansino." Gyeo-Wool stated. "I think it has a nice ring to it."

"It's nice seeing you back out there." Aimee stated. I took a deep breath.

"I'm not gonna lie," I stated. "I am very nervous being away from Ro."

"I know." Aimee stated. "I promise she's okay. Isn't your sister in-law keeping a close eye on her?"

"Yes." I replied. "I am also very nervous about facing Chinagorom Lawal again. I failed her last time."

"Do you think she would of asked for you if she thought that?" Gyeo-Wool asked.

"...... No." I mumbled. "I don't think so."

"Exactly my point." Aimee stated. "Now you better go see her. Ms. Lawal is waiting for you." I nodded.

"I know she is." I stated. "I am going to make sure she didn't regret re-hiring me." I adjusted my tie and took a deep breath.

"So," Aimee asked. "Do you still have those old files?"

"I never throw old evidence away." I stated. "They're in my old office in the filing closet. Let's go." The girls and I made our way to the office.
