---Jordan's POV---
I was in the process of packing when someone knocked on my door. Chili ran to the door and wagged her tail. I opened it up to be greeted by Ro. Ro picked up Chili."Ro?" I asked. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to see you." Ro replied as she was looking around my apartment. I took a deep breath.
"I sold my share and taking an early retirement." I stated. Ro looked shocked.
"Why?" Ro asked.
"I want to move closer to you." I replied. "Justine's talking to Alex about me moving in for a while until I get my own place or I move in with you. I wasted so much of my life working and not living..... You know?" Ro teared up.
"I was gonna move to New York to he with you." Ro whimpered. I hugged Ro and kissed her forehead.
"I'm going there." I stated. "I love you more than anything." Ro happily kissed me and hugged me.
"I love you too." Ro stated. My phone rang. I had to block Leon as he had been getting extremely aggressive since I announced my retirement to him. It got to the point where Aimee had to force him to step down from the law firm. I guess he didn't want the changes to happen, but that wasn't an excuse to be the way he was. I checked the caller ID. It was Alex. I picked up.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey Jordan," Alex stated. "Justine and I talked about you staying with us temporarily and we agreed to let you move in."
"What's the condition?" I asked.
"You watch the baby once in a while." Alex replied. I shrugged.
"Seems fair," I stated. "I will draw up a contract." I pulled out my laptop and began typing. Ro placed Chili down and looked at me confused.
"Is that really necessary?" Alex questioned.
"In my field of work," I replied. "Yes." Alex sighed.
"I'll talk to you later." Alex stated. Alex hung up. I looked at my girlfriend, who faintly smiled at me.
"What was that about?" Ro asked.
"I'll be living with Justine and Alex for a while." I replied. "I just have to watch the baby once in a while once it comes." Ro thought for a moment.
"Have you ever wondered about your father's side?" Ro asked. I shrugged.
"Did Justine tell you I refuse to take a DNA test?" I asked
"Because you're afraid of what you'll find?" Ro asked.
"Yes." I replied. I got up and went to the kitchen. Ro followed me. I began going through the cupboards and grabbed peanut butter and bread. The only two things I had in the cabinet.
"I can make us peanut butter sandwiches." I stated. "Or I can take you out for dinner..... Forget the peanut butter sandwiches, I'm taking you out for dinner."
"I'm okay with the peanut butter sandwiches." Ro stated.
"But we're in New York City." I stated. "And I don't plan on coming here often once I move to LA. Let's go." I took Ro's hand and went out.
---Ro's POV---
Jordan took me to this small pizza place he frequents often. Once we entered, the owner looked up and smiled."Jordan!" The owner beamed. "Good to see you! You don't come in as often as you used to!"
"I've been travelling between here and California." Jordan stated. "How's Silvia doing?" The owner sighed.
"My poor girl went through her first heart break." The owner replied. "If I ever get my hands on Ken, I swear on my mother's grave I will make him pay."
"Get a good swing at him for me." Jordan stated. "Before I forget, this is Rosanna, my girlfriend."
"This is the graceful rose that made our Jordan so happy!" The owner beamed. Jordan turned to me.
"Ro," Jordan stated. "This is Elena Monti, the owner of Monti's Pizzaria. The best in New York City."
"He is such a gentleman." Elena stated in Italian.
"Yes he is." I stated to Elena in English. Elena's eyes lit up.
"You're Italian?!" Elena beamed in English.
"My mom has a duel citizenship." I stated. Elena squealed.
"Lorenzo!" Elena shouted in Italian. "Get the best red wine we have! Jordan's girlfriend is here!"
"Does he want the usual?!" The man, who I think is Lorenzo, called out in Italian. Elena looked at Jordan.
"The usual?" Elena asked. Jordan looked at me.
"My usual is turkey pepperoni," Jordan stated. "Tomato, spinach, and feta." I nodded.
"Sounds good." I stated.
Once the pizza was ready, we all gathered and ate. Elena and Lorenzo had so many questions for me.
"Elena," Jordan stated. "I'm moving out to California to be closer to Ro." Elena nodded.
"You must love her." Elena stated. Jordan smiled and looked at me.
"Yes," Jordan stated. "Rosanna is the one." I blushed. Jordan kissed my hand and smiled.
"You two are such a beautiful couple!" Lorenzo cheered.
"You two will make beautiful babies!" Elena cheered. Jordan lifted his wine glass.
"Cheers!" Jordan cheered. "To the beginning of a brand new adventure!"
"Cheers!" I beamed. We all clinked glasses and took a sip.
"L'amore è una bellissima rosa rossa donata," Lorenzo stated. "Senza una ragione apparente." Jordan looked at me confused.
"He says that a lot," Jordan stated. "But he always says 'I shall never tell you until you are ready.'" I smiled. I knew exactly what it meant. Lorenzo looked at me and shook his head.
"He's still not going to tell you." I stated. "And you will never get it from me." Jordan pouted. I chuckled and booped his nose.
"Be sure to come and visit us." Elena stated.
"I'll fly you two out for my wedding." Jordan stated. Elena and Lorenzo cheered. I smiled at Jordan.
Once we said our goodbyes, Jordan and I started making our way back to his place, holding each other's hands. I looked at Jordan and smiled.
"I love you." I stated. Jordan kissed the top of my head.
"I love you too." Jordan stated.
