---Jordan's POV---
It was court day. I was back in my element where I belonged. I adjusted my tie for the tenth time. I took a deep breath and approached the stand."Your honour," I stated. "My client was falsely accused of stalking Mr. Smith on Friday May 11, 2018. Ms. Lawal was back home, in Nigeria, visiting family, during that time period. However, the court has decided that she was guilty due to a matter of race and the fact that she is an immigrant. My client wanted a clean divorce your honour. The prosecution refused to give her that."
"Your honour," The prosecutor stated. "The defendant's lawyer retired from law to move to California to get with however many women he can get his hands on. Clearly, as a man if faith, you wouldn't dare--"
"What does my personal life have to do with this case?" I asked.
"You shouldn't be practicing law here." The prosecutor stated. I looked at the judge.
"Your honour," I stated. "My opponent here has horrible research skills. I am a happily married man, not a womanizer. Yes, I do live in California now, but what does any of this have to do with my ability to practice law?" The judge looked at the prosecutor.
"Prosecutor," The judge stated. "Please don't include the defendant's lawyer's personal life in your statement."
"I'm just saying," The prosecutor stated. "The defendant's lawyer claims to be married, but I don't see a ring." I lifted the chain necklace I bought with my wedding ring on the end of the chain. I wiggled it a little bit.
"Can we get on with it?" I asked. "So I can get home to my family?" The prosecutor began rambling nonsense. The judge sighed and shook his head.
"Prosecutor," The judge stated. "Enough. Ms. Lawal is to be released immediately. Mr. Smith is to pay five years alimony up front and more until the defendant either dies or remarries. Mr. Smith is also to pay ALL lawyer's fees and Mr. Ezarik-Pansino's flight here and back to California. Case dismissed." The gavel landed and I smiled. Chinagorom hugged me and cheered.
"So," I asked. "Now that you're free, what are you going to do first?"
"I'm going home to see my father." Chinagorom stated. I smiled and shook Chinagorom's hand.
"Good luck Ms. Lawal." I stated. "I hope your life is full of great things for now on."
"Thank you for everything Mr. Ezarik." Chinagorom stated. I nodded.
"I am glad I didn't let you down again." I stated.
"You didn't let me down at all." Chinagorom stated. "You did what you could last time and we got justice this time." Chinagorom hugged me one last time and left. I made my way to back Aimee's place.
Once I got to Aimee's, I called Ro. Ro picked up.
"Hey Honey!" Ro beamed.
"Hey Pookie," I stated. "Are you three doing okay?"
"We're doing great." Ro stated. "We miss you."
"I miss you too." I stated. "I won my case. The client's free."
"That's great!" Ro beamed.
"I'll be home tomorrow." I stated. "The prosecution has to pay for my flight home, so I'm thinking first class." Ro chuckled.
"See you when you get home." Ro stated.
"I love you." I stated.
"I love you too." Ro stated.
---Ro's POV---
Jordan came home and immediately ran to me. Jordan smothered me in kisses and hugged me."I missed you so much." Jordan stated.
"I missed you too." I stated. Jordan kissed my cheek and held me tight.
"How are the babies?" Jordan asked.
"They're moving." I stated. I know I was only 20 weeks, but Jordan and I have become anxious. I guess it's because there's two babies, not one. Jordan kissed my bump and hugged it.
"I love you both." Jordan stated. "My little Bailey and my little JJ."
"I am not calling him JJ." I stated.
"How about we just call him 'Junior?'" Jordan asked. I nodded.
"Junior it is." I stated. I kissed my husband and smiled.
"I love you." Jordan stated.
"I love you too." I stated. Jordan kissed me and smiled. Suddenly, Jordan's phone rang. Jordan and I both sighed.
"Give me a moment." Jordan stated. Jordan answered his phone and left the room. I rubbed my bump and raised my eyebrow.
"Your daddy might be employed again." I stated. "This will be good for him, trust me." Jordan walked into the room and smiled faintly.
"I got the job." Jordan stated.
"That's great!" I beamed. I reached out to Jordan to give me a hug. Jordan wrapped his arms around me and kissed me. I kissed my husband excitedly.
"At least we'll get more time together." Jordan stated.
"Does that make you Professor Ezarik-Pansino?" I asked. Jordan smirked.
"I believe it does." Jordan stated. I smirked and began kissing Jordan's neck.
"Professor Ezarik-Pansino is so hot." I stated. Jordan chuckled and pulled away a little.
"If you weren't 5 months pregnant," Jordan stated. "I'd do you like a rabbit." I looked at my bump and frowned.
"My hormones have spiked again." I stated. Jordan kissed my forehead.
"I know." Jordan stated. Jordan hugged me and kissed my bump.
"So," I asked. "When do you start?"
"In August." Jordan replied. I nodded.
"So you only have a few days with the twins." I stated.
"I know," Jordan stated. "It sucks. I'm sorry Pookie." I kissed my husband's cheek and booped his nose.
"Don't be babe." I stated. "I'm just glad you're going to be with the twins some nights."
"It's only the one class." Jordan stated.
"Isn't it also a mandatory class?" I asked.
"Yes." Jordan replied. "It's a mandatory class."
"So you're going to grade a lot of papers." I stated. Jordan thought for a moment.
"Yes," Jordan stated. "But I will still be able to spend time with you and our babies. I promise." Jordan kissed me.
"Alright," I stated. "I believe you."
