Night,
Scene starts in Rupy's room,
Rupy was looking at his and Tejo's childhood pics in the album and smiling hysterically.
Satti: Kya dekh rahe hain jii?
Rupy(with a sad smile): Dekh raha hoon ki meri Tejo.....meri gudiya....kitni jaldi badi ho gayi.
Satti: Toh kya ho gaya? Bada toh harr koi hota hain.......
Rupy(with a sad smile): Jaanta hoon lekin....ladkiyaan kuch zyada hi jaldi badi ho jaati hain jaise meri Tejo ho gayi. Kaise itni jaldi badi ho gayi.....samajh hi nahi aaya. Dekho....shaadi hone waali hain kal uski. Aur kal vo mujhe aur iss ghar ko chod kar chali jaaegi.
Satti(keeping her hand on Rupy's shoulder): Aapko dukh ho raha hain kya?
Rupy: Nahi....dukh nahi hain......khushi hain ki meri Tejo ko aakhir kar uska pyaar mil hi gaya...uska Fateh use mil hi gaya lekin sach kahu toh thoda dukh bhi hain ki meri bacchi......mere ghar ko chod kar......apne pati ke paas chali jaaegi.
Satti(with a smile): Aap dukhi mat ho.......Fateh toh humein apna hi parivaar maanta hain......aur agar hum usse kahenge ki humein Tejo ke saath rehna hain toh vo mana thodi karega?
Rupy: Par Tejo hamesha toh meri aankho ke saamne nahi rahegi na?
"Uske liye bhi ek plan hain."said Fateh while standing at the door of the room. Fateh decided to stay in Sandhu House for the night and then leave the next morning.
Rupy: Arrey Fateh....aa jaa puttar.....
Fateh came inside and then spoke.
Fateh: Hum ek kaam karte hain Papa.....hum dono matlab main aur Tejo yahi rehte hain.
Satti: Par puttar......log kya kahenge?
Fateh: Arrey log toh kehte hi rahenge...vo unka kaam hain......par humein inn sab cheezon ko ignore karna chahiye. Toh bataiye papa.....main reh jaaun yahi par? Ghar jamai bann kar? Isse Tejo bhi aapke saath rahegi aur aap sab bhi dukhi nahi houge.
Rupy giggled hearing this.
Rupy(keeping hand on Fateh's head): Nahi beta....uski zaroorat nahi hain. Aakhir tum dono ko bhi toh privacy chahiye hogi? Aur waise bhi.....agar Tejo issi ghar mein rahi toh main toh aisa hi sochunga ki uski shaadi nahi hui aur hamesha tum dono ko jaa kar disturb karunga.......samjhe?
Fateh: Ismein disturb kya?
Rupy: Arrey jo bhi ho......tumhe ghar jamai bann kar rehne ki zaroorat nahi hain mere liye.......par haan....jab main chahu...Tejo se milwana parega.......
Fateh(with a smile): Zaroor papa.......yeh bhi koi kehne ki baat hain?
Rupy and Satti smiled.
Fateh: Chaliye....ab so jaaiye.....kal aapki beti ki shaadi hain.....toh aapko bohot saari taiyaariyaan karni hain bohot mehnat karni hain....jaldi jaldi so jaaiye.......
Rupy: Tu bhi jaldi so jaa.....warna pata chala ki kal Tejo toh taiyaar ho gayi lekin tu sota reh gaya
Rupy laughed saying this😂
Fateh: Aisa bilkul bhi nahi hoga Papa.......chaliye...Good Night....Good Night Maa.......
Satti: Good Night beta.......
Fateh left.

Satti and Rupy slept with a smile on their face.

Next Morning,
The mandap was decorated beautifully and the Pandit jii was also there. The guests started arriving meanwhile Tejo was getting ready in her room.
Just then Babe arrived.
Babe: Tejo puttar? Ho gayi tu taiyaar?
Tejo: Jii Babe........
Babe: Wahh! Badi soni lag rahi hain....nazar na lag jaaye tujhe.
Babe made a black dot on Tejo's neck.

Babe: Ab tu yahi intezaar kar....Tera Fateh aata hi hoga.......
Tejo blushed hearing this.
Babe went downstairs.

Tejo waited for half an hour. In this half hour....many thoughts developed in her heart. Self doubt, happiness, imagination about the life ahead and many more.

Tejo's trance broke when she heard the sounds of drum beats and clarinet. She understood that the baraat came and within a few seconds a wide smile appeared on her face. Tejo wanted to see Fateh before their marriage but she controlled her emotions agreeing the orders of elders.

Jasmine, Satti and Lovely brought Tejo down. There was a cute and peaceful smile on her face under the veil and her heartbeat was increasing due to nervousness, happiness and excitement. Tejo wanted to dance but couldn't as it was the time for their marriage but she promised herself to have a couple dance after their marriage.
