Third person's POV:

Imee stepped inside her mother's house, feeling utterly frustrated and disappointed by what had just happened. As she entered, she was greeted by her mother and her adorable nieces and nephews, Sandro and Simon.

"Tita!" they shouted cheerfully, their faces beaming with excitement. Imee couldn't help but smile back at them, momentarily forgetting about her troubles.

"Hi, kids," she replied warmly. "Where's Almira?" Imee was aware that Almira had chosen to stay with her grandmother and older cousins for the vacation. She had given permission for Almira to do so, but she couldn't deny that she missed her dearly.

"She's playing in the backyard," her mother, Imelda said affectionately. "She's been waiting for you."

Imee's heart skipped a beat at the mention of her daughter. She quickly made her way to the backyard, feeling a mix of anticipation and relief. As she stepped outside, she spotted Almira, her beautiful little girl, running around with a group of children, her laughter filling the air.

Imee's frustration and disappointment began to fade away, replaced by a deep sense of joy and contentment. Seeing her daughter happy and carefree, surrounded by loved ones, reminded Imee of what truly mattered in life.

She walked towards Almira, her step light and her heart full. Almira noticed her mother approaching and ran towards her, gleefully throwing her tiny arms around her.

"Mama, you're here!" Almira exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Imee embraced her tightly, whispering words of love and reassurance.

"Yes, my love, I'm here," Imee replied, her voice filled with love and longing. "I've missed you so much."

As they held each other, Imee couldn't help but feel a renewed sense of strength and determination. Despite the frustrations and disappointments that weighed her down earlier, she knew that she had a support system of family and loved ones who would always be there for her.

In that moment, surrounded by her mother, nieces, and nephews, enveloped in her daughter's warmth and love, Imee found solace and a newfound resilience. The challenges she faced would still be there, but knowing that she had a loving family to lean on gave her the strength to face them head-on.

Imee took a deep breath, embracing the present moment and cherishing the love and laughter that surrounded her. Whatever may come her way, she knew that she had a family that would always serve as her anchor, guiding her through the storms of life with love, support, and unwavering loyalty.

They were now gathered around the dinner table, enjoying a delicious meal, and everything seemed fine. However, the atmosphere changed when Imee's brother, Bongbong, broke the silence by asking a direct question.

"Ate, can you please tell me what really happened? Why did you suddenly call me to pick you up?" Bongbong asked, his curiosity evident in his voice.

Imee felt a knot in her stomach as she contemplated how to answer the question. She wanted to lie, to brush off the incident and spare herself the embarrassment and shame. But deep down, she knew she couldn't hide anything from her mother, Imelda. Imelda had a way of seeing through her, understanding her in ways that no one else could.

Imelda's gaze shifted towards Imee, her eyes filled with concern and wisdom. She knew her daughter well, sensing that something had gone wrong earlier. Imelda had always been a pillar of support for Imee, offering guidance and strength whenever needed.

Imee took a deep breath, mustering the courage to share what had happened between her and Rod. With a heavy heart, she began recounting the events, trying to find the right words.
