All the teachers stop in their tracks upon my entry, as If the world had frozen. After Nezu gets over what appeared to be surprise, he quickly rushes to regain his composure. "Oh, Miss Rio! You're back already, Wonderful..."He trails off, the silence in the room quickly filling up the space once more.
I clear my throat, hoping to loosen the tension and prompt them to reveal something. Nezu turns around, seemingly signaling something to the rest of the teachers, then turns back to me. "Well, you finished your costume much earlier than most people do, so congrats on that. Now... We have a few things we would like to discuss with you." A lump forms in my throat. A few of the teachers stand up appearing to be coming towards me. Suddenly my vision is covered by a purple mist, shutting my body down as I float out of consciousness. "Please don't be alarmed Miss, This is merely just a precaution." Is the last thing I hear before settling into the darkness and dropping to the ground.
The teachers POV
Aizawa crouches down to catch the now unconscious child, nodding at Nezu once he does So. "Good work Midnight; Aizawa."
"I still don't see why this is necessary, it would've been no different if she was conscious." Power loader says with a shrug. "It was purely just precaution," Nezu repeats. "Now, let's bring her over." Snipe and Cementos, pick her up and follow Nezu out of the room.
They finally stop at a door, entering the room once Nezu opens it for them. They place the girl in a chair and go to sit on a couch in the room. "So, what now?" Snipe asks the principal. "Now, we review what we discussed earlier until she awakens." The principal clasps his hands together just as Aizawa, Vlad, and a few other teachers enter the room. "Ah, there you guys are."
"How long until she wakes up?" Mic, who was one of the teachers in the room, asks.
"Mmm, normally it would be around 25, but since she's a girl, it won't last as long. I'd give it 15 minutes." Midnight confirms.
"Yes, and you'll be able to knock her out again if need be." Nezu agrees, sitting down and pulling out a cup of tea.
The heroes discussed the leads and theories they had come up with about the girl, as well as bringing up any questions they had or things they had noticed. Vlad argued that they had enough evidence already and that they should just lock her up instead of questioning her. Nezu had to remind him that they only had suspicions and in turn had no reliable proof.
Aizawa did not indulge in conversation, instead, he leaned against the wall, shaking his head slightly. Mic, after some time, went over to him. "Hey, you doin' ok?" Aizawa doesn't answer him, looking away from his friend. "Look man, I know you don't want to hurt the kid, and I know you believe that they aren't a villain. But the kid is definitely hiding something and the suspicions aren't going to end until we all get answers."
"I told her that I would be there for her, that I cared. If I join in on this—Interrogation, then I'd be breaking what little is left of our relationship; I refuse to do that Mic." Aizawa puts his foot down.
Then Vlad walks over. "Phf, Aizawa look at you. What happened to guilty until proven innocent huh? She got to you man, she played you like a doll. And I hate to say it, but it's the absolute truth. You've.Gone.Soft." Vlad says, forcing himself into the discussion.
"Uh, Vlad? I don't think it's a good idea to poke the–"
"Says the guy who buys donuts for his students." Aizawa throws back. "Well at least I care for my students, all you care about is that little brat." Vlad fires.
"She's not a brat, she's a kid, if anything you're the one acting bratty asshole."
"Oh, I'm the Asshole? She shows up and suddenly our schedules and files are missing. An attack on the very class she was in! Don't you think that's a little suspicious, Aizawa?"
"Of course it's suspicious, but there's no evidence that she was the one that caused any of this."
"It literally all lines up! She words things indirectly when talking to the detective, she has this so-called 'Traumatic backstory' that has some holes. Things disappear the second she gets here. She Knows things that she shouldn't if she didn't know much about quirks. I could go on!"
"Oooh I bet you could vlad, you have so many suspicions, all of these shitty theories, yet how much solid evidence have you found? Not one fucking thing. Zero!"
Vlad growled at that, he knew Aizawa had a point there, but It was clear as day that his co-worker wasn't in his usual right mind. He seemed more grumpy than usual, and he would always at least be listening in on the staff conversations, but he completely zoned out.
"Aizawa it's not about the evidence, there could be absolutely zero evidence and the person could still be guilty. You're just refusing to admit it because you've got a soft spot for the delinquent. It's obvious that you've got a relationship of some sort, but aren't you guys not on speaking terms? I'm telling you man it's a strategy. She's trying to make you feel guilty, like you have to make it up to her. She's a lying and manipulative bastard!" Vlad almost yelled.
"You have no right to say that, she's just a kid okay? If anything you're more of a bastard than her, we supposedly have 'no rivalry' and then you walk around like you own the place bragging about your stupid class. Half of them aren't even passing!"
"How dare you say that about my students, they could beat your class easily! And this isn't even about the students."
"Isn't it though Vlad? You're upset that I don't yell at her or ignore her like I do my students or you guys. If anything, I'd say she's more tolerable than you. By a landslide!"
"Wow Aizawa, putting the villain over your own friends. I'm telling you she's got you fooled. She's a villain that wants to destroy us!"
"NO, she's a kid that needs HELP, and as heroes, we should help those who need it. She may be a villain, I'm aware of that possibility, but don't people become villains because no one was there to save them? To push them onto the right path. And to be a villain so young, don't you think, as heroes... That we should help them Dammit?"Aizawa burst out, breaking down, tears forming at the bridge of his eyes. He turns away from his comrades, not wanting them to see him so weak.
Mic puts a hand on his friend, which lasts a few seconds longer than normal before it's brushed off. Aizawa takes a breath and then turns back around. His comrades were all looking at him, concerned expressions playing on their faces. He hated being pitied, especially by people he knew. Aizawa cleared his throat just as Detective Tsukauchi walked in, who took in the melodramatic scene before him. Awkwardly walking around the commotion and heading over to Nezu, who slides him a cup of tea. "Thank you." He sighed as he glanced over at the unconscious girl left of him.

Opening her eyes, Rio slowly becomes aware of her surroundings. She begins to lift her hand to rub her eyes but then all of the memories come flashing back. They had captured her and had brought her to this room. With a sense of urgency, she sits upright, frantically glancing around. The detective and some of the staff were there with her, and some of them took notice of her sudden movements.
Vlad, being one of them, narrowed his eyes at her. But to her relief, he didn't walk over, instead turning and talking to another teacher.
"Hello Miss Rio, "From the left of me I hear Tsukuachi's voice. Turning, I see him pulling up a chair and sitting down beside me.
I fiddle with my thumbs nervously. "Um, Hi?" I say, more as a question than a statement.
He lets out a small chuckle. "We have to stop meeting up like this." He says, earning a nod from me in response.
He lets his smile drop after that. The detective opens his mouth to speak, but then suddenly the lights turn off.
"...Mic! Why did you turn off the lights?" One of the teachers whisper-shouts. "Well, Interrogations are always more intense when the lights are off." He defends, crossing his arms. After a few seconds, they pull out a lamp, Shining it in my face as if they wanted to blind me. The detective moves it out of my face, to which I thank him. My gratitude is quickly replaced by anxiety. The fact that they did all of this just to interrogate me was unsettling.
