"That... was..." Midnight finally broke, voice trembling despite her usual composure.

"Unreal," Snipe added, fingers drumming the table, eyes still locked on the screen. "I've trained for Quirk crises. I've seen out-of-control powers. But that—there's no word for that."

"She's alive," Power Loader said softly. "That's what matters. Somehow, she's still alive."

Nezu nodded slowly. "Yes. That is correct. She is alive. But she is also in an unstable state. The energy generated during that episode has residual effects, both physiological and neurological. We are fortunate the medical team intervened when they did. Had the escalation continued even a few minutes longer... the consequences could have been catastrophic."

"Catastrophic?" Vlad's voice was low, tight with disbelief. "That was... raw power. Beyond anything I've ever seen. She's just a kid."

"Yes," Nezu agreed, almost thoughtfully. "And that is precisely why careful monitoring and understanding are paramount. What you just witnessed is not a typical Quirk malfunction. This is an internal meltdown projected externally. Her subconscious, her memories, even her fears—they all contribute directly to the Quirk's manifestation. And the magnitude of energy is... unprecedented."

A soft murmur ran through the room. Teachers exchanged glances, some pale, others silent in awe or dread.

"Her condition now," Nezu continued, "is stable, but fragile. She remains unconscious, and the next twenty-four hours will be critical. Monitoring must continue, both for her safety and to understand the Quirk's behavior under stress. We will not know the full scope until she awakens—or until a similar event occurs under controlled observation."

Recovery Girl exhaled audibly. "I can't imagine what it must have been like for her. That's... terrifying. Recovery may end up being more troublesome for her if this hold any after affects."

"Yes," Nezu said softly, ears flicked back, tail curling thoughtfully around his paws. "It is terrifying. And it is precisely why we must proceed with caution."

The staff remained quiet, processing what they had seen, some exchanging murmured questions, others staring at the monitors that now displayed only static.

Nezu finally straightened, lifting his gaze toward the group. "Well, That concludes the playback. I will take any questions, but please, keep in mind that speculation without evidence will not serve us. Observation, patience, and calculated action are what we must rely upon from this point forward."

The heroes glanced at each other uneasily, not sure where to begin.

Finally, Midnight leaned forward, arms crossed tight. "Alright—" her voice cut through the hush, sharp with fatigue and unease. "That was... something for sure. But why drag us all in here in the middle of the night for this? Why the urgency? I mean—yes, what we saw was serious. But we've all dealt with Quirk mishaps before."

Nezu's ears twitched, and he folded his paws neatly atop the untouched files. "Because this is not simply a mishap," he said calmly, though the smile he wore was sharper now. "Rio, as you are all aware, is not just a student under our care. At present, she is legally under the guardianship of U.A. Her well-being, her choices, her Quirk—these are, for the moment, owned and overseen by this institution."

A ripple of unease passed through the room. Vlad's brows drew together.

Nezu went on, his tone never faltering. "That places both extraordinary responsibility and extraordinary liability on us. What you just witnessed wasn't merely dangerous for her peers, but catastrophic for her own body. And if it were to happen again..." His smile thinned. "...the public fallout could be far greater than the physical one."
