Fifteen years into the future, the entire world was a barren, deserted planet, filled with ruined and destroyed buildings of cities, cockroaches scurrying across the rumbles and debris, and there was no human life or sign of nature anywhere. There was no sun shining, rain, or life in sight: only ruins of cities getting destroyed by one monstrous and powerful ghost as lightning flashed in the endless darkness above all the destruction. Amity Park was the only haven on Earth from all the evilness happening outside. A strong ghost shield powered by multiple towers covered the upgraded city, protecting it from the evilest threat.

Despite all the disasters outside the shield of Amity Park, the residents seemed to continue with their normal lives, completely ignoring the isolated outside world. Cars advanced into hover vehicles, and buildings were made much higher. Most stayed the same, like Casper High School as the defender of Amity Park, twenty-nine-year-old Valerie Gray, now with a solder-like hairdo, flew over the building on her hoverboard.

"HI!" Kids called after their defender as they waved, and she flew away.

Valerie merely smiled at them and saluted to the kids before she jetted across the futuristic city. She stopped at one of the towers powering the ghost shield as she settled her board aside on the ledge and opened a panel while she examined it, showing that it was fine and operational.

"Ghost Shield Tower Nine, one-hundred percent operational," Valerie said into her watch communicator, revealing her father, Damon Gray, now older with an eye patch and missing an arm.

"Great, Val, check the last tower and get ba-" He began to order his daughter, but then her watch suddenly went static, and she lost contact with her father.

"Dad? Father!"

Then the screen showed two bloody red evil eyes but did not reveal the face. "Hello, Valerie." A sinister male voice said through the watch.

Valerie looked surprised at first before she narrowed his eyes in disgust and anger. "You, again?! I don't care how powerful you are, ghost. You can't break through the shield!"

"...Until today." The eyes suddenly went wide when a loud, powerful howl emitted throughout Amity Park.

Valerie immediately clapped her hands on her ears tightly, as did all the other citizens in the entire city, as their home trembled from this raw force of sonic frequencies. Windows of the buildings and cars' windshields shattered to bits, and the ground vibrated from the loud howl. Valerie glanced at the panel and gasped when she saw it dropping and losing power rapidly, and the entire tower began to explode. Valerie quickly grabbed her jet sled and jumped over the ledge and off the balcony before the explosion reached her, but the force made her lose her air when she was about to hurtle through the glass building in front of her. She quickly pressed on her watch as her sled automatically caught her before the window shattered.

Valerie sat on her board and gasped as she watched the rest of the ghost shield towers exploding like a domino chain. As soon as they were all destroyed, the ghost shield engulfing the city began to displace. The citizens froze in their places as they watched their ghost shield that had been protecting them for years disappear before their eyes in horror, leaving Amity Park completely defenseless. Lightning struck in the sky as alarms blared across town before everyone ran for their lives, and they quickly ran into some protective domes to parts unknown as they tried to hide from the biggest ghost threat they had ever seen.

Valerie watched the panicking crowds hide into the domes before she glanced back down at her watch. "Like the new power? I call it: my ghostly wail." The evil male voice said, revealing that he was the one who began howling, setting the entire city into a massive panic.

The ghost hunter suddenly heard something coming her way. She turned, only to get blasted back by a purple gemstone that was hurtling right toward her. Valerie plummeted out of the sky as she tumbled to the ground near the Nasty Burger 2, all bruised from the unexpected attack.

Vincent opened her eyes weakly and went wide-eyed when she saw the attacker before her. "You?"

It was the Fright Knight himself. He hovered over the ghost hunter with his arms crossed. "Yes, me...and I serve a new master now." He sinisterly said before he unleashed another purple gemstone straight at Valerie, but she quickly pressed on her watch, and her board swooped in. He hopped on board and flew away as the stone exploded on the new Nasty Burger.

"I gotta get to Dad."

Valerie rode down the city and up a building as she evaded the Halloween Spirit's gemstones while he chased her by her tail. Valerie jetted straight to Fenton Works just as the Fright Knight fired another large stone, destroying the OP Center's antenna and creating a hole. Valerie used the hole as a route when she flew across the house and into the lab, where her father, Damon, was, while alarms blared.

"Dad, the Fright Knight's here, which means he can't be far behind! What do we do?! What do we-" Valerie asked her father fearfully before the same ghostly howling emitted.

Damon looked straight into his daughter's eyes. "Valerie...run!" He told her.

The entire floor of the Fenton Works lab began to crack as green light emitted right from the gaps in front of the Fenton Ghost Portal. The floor exploded as a ghostly figure emerged while torrents of green flames erupted around him while he held her fists straight out his sides.

The Grays stared at him in horrified silence as he landed and came into view.

The ghostly figure had snow-white flaming hair with a ponytail, red eyes with dark lines around them that were thirsty for destruction, fangs for teeth and pointy ears, light turquoise skin, and a goatee. Its entire figure and structure were bulky and muscular. It wore a black jumpsuit with white trim and black gloves. It also wore a white belt and white boots and had a white and black cape. And the worst part was it had a black DP ghost logo on its chest.

This ghost was undoubtedly twenty-nine-year-old Danny Phantom. He was once a great hero of Amity Park in his teen years, who dedicated his life to protecting his hometown from ghost attacks. But ten years later, he was now the most evil and powerful ghost on the planet, known as Dark Danny Phantom, or as people would dub him now as, Dan Phantom. How he inexplicably went from a helpful, friendly hero to a sociopathic, heartless villain was beyond everyone's understandings as far as they knew.

"Hello, Valerie." Dark Danny said with a sickening grin, and his voice was more evil and deeper. Valerie gaped fearfully at him with wide eyes. "...and goodbye." He raised her hand to the Grays and fired a powerful green ecto beam as Fenton Works exploded.

When an image of Dan Phantom appeared on screen in the Ghost Zone, time suddenly paused. A ghost child with a violet cloak and a staff in his hand flew in front of the image of older Danny.

He is a violet-cloaked ghost with a pale blue face and a scar across his left eye. Embedded in his chest was a clock-like mechanism. He carries a time staff, which he uses often.

"Now, do you understand?" A voice asked in the shadows.

"Yes, Danny Phantom grows up to be the most evil ghost on the planet." The ghost in a calm and soft voice as he shifted into adult form. He turned around, revealing his pale blue face with a scar running across his left eye with an annoyed scowl. "What do you want me to do about it?"

"You're the Master of Time, Clockwork, isn't it obvious?"

"To save the future, Danny Phantom must perish!" The second voice said as he flew out of the shadows, revealing to be a council-like ghost with one eye. Both were very concerned about the future before them and wanted to rid Danny Phantom out to ensure the safety of the human world and the Ghost Zone.
