"Vern, that was the all time train dodge. Too cool. Vern you were so scared you looked like the fat guy or Abbott and Costello the time he saw the mummy."Teddy laughed.

We were all sitting around a campfire in the middle of the woods. I was in between Teddy and Chris. We were all talking around the fire. They were talking about things boys usually talk about before they discover girls

"If I had to only eat one for for the rest of my life? That's easy, Pez, cherry flavoured Pez." Vern said, I laughed

"Pez? Really?" I giggled

"Like you could do any better." He replied

"If I could only have one food for the rest of my life it would be [ur fav food] or something."
I said

All the boys started laughing

"What? It's better than cherry flavoured Pez." I said

Chris smiled at me.

"I think that's a great choice, y/n"
Teddy said, I just rolled my eyes

Chris glared at him.

Gordie broke the silence
"If Mickeys a mouse, Donald's a duck, and Plutos a dog, what's Goofy?"

Gordie said and we all thought about it for a bit

"Goofy's a dog, obviously." Chris said

"No, but Goofy has a pet dog, Pluto so he can't be a dog."
Teddy said, annoying Chris

"Goofys definitely a dog." Vern said

Chris just brought up something else "Wagon trains a great show, but have you ever noticed that they never get anywhere, they just keep wagon training."

Chris said I laughed a bit and smiled

Teddy, obviously got jealous.

After that, Gordie told us a story about a fat kid named Davie hogan who entered a pie eating contest, and started a barf-o-Rama. I honestly thought it was a bit gross but the boys seemed to love it.

"And than what?" Teddy asked Gordie after he had finished the story

"What do you mean? That's the ending." Gordie said confused

"Why don't you make the ending that he goes home, shoots his dad and than joins the Texas rangers." Teddy laughed

"I don't know I like the ending."
Vern said, agreeing with Gordie

"Yeah I like the ending." I say

"Yea whatever it's a good story I just don't like the ending." Teddy said, laying down to go to bed

All of the sudden we hear a loud noise, I move closer to Chris, scared.

"What is it, Chris?" I asked

"It's probably the ghost of that Brower kid." Teddy says, trying to scare Vern

"Don't say that man." Vern says obviously scared

"Shut up, it's probably just coyotes." Chris said to Teddy

We hear it again, I move even closer to Chris and look up at him. He looks back down at me
