(Ashley's POV)

I sat at the table tapping my finger idly as I stared at my phone, and gently touched the screen for it to light up with a few messages.

'6 missed calls from Dad'

But the other one gives me a slight surprise.

'Jaz'

Jazmine? What could she want?

I sigh and unlock my phone to go into my text messages.

'Hey Ash, hope things have been going alright for you. Just thought it has been a while since I had any contact with you and always want you to know me and the gals miss you.'

She sent a heart at the end of the text, and I decided to set my phone down to think for a moment.

Part of me feels upset that I don't think I should say anything, but I think that is the right thing to do.

I stood up and walked over to the window as I heard a slight rumble outside.

I saw faint lights around the corner, but they quickly turned off just as I thought I saw someone walk past the opening.

Damian might be back...

I turn around to see Jax on the top bunk and notice him leaning over the side with a notebook on his lap. As usual, he seems like he is in a trance as he writes down things.

I sat down across from him on my bunk and cleared my throat in an attempt to get his attention.

He doesn't stop writing.

"What are you writing about?" I ask and he pauses for a moment before setting his pencil down to look up at me.

Jax: "Someone should document what is happening, this is history in the making and the 'officials' refuse to let it be known." He says.

"If someone finds out you are documenting this you might get in trouble." I assumed he was writing about Damian.

He smiles lightly.

Jax: "He is something beyond what they say, and if he is lost to history then what has happened here will be for nothing." He taps on his book, "This is the only way he will be documented, and I refuse to let him be forgotten. Jade can hate him, but the world should know about him."

I kind of frown at what he said.

"If Damian found out he would be upset, he already said he wants to disappear." I try to remind him.

Jax waves dismissively.

Jax: "Damian needs this, and I will make sure he doesn't know about this. Will you do the same?" He asks and tilts his head.

I sigh, but right before I say anything.

My phone vibrates on the table, and I look over.

"Give me a second." I walk over and look down at the name.

'Jaz'

I took a deep breath before picking it up.

"I'l-..I'll be right back." I answered the call and stepped outside without any boots on and felt the cold snow on my pads.
