One week passed like this.. Subhadra stayed in Kunti's chamber as she was still uncomfortable.
Present day
It was the day of feast.. Everyone was busy in preparing everything for the feast
"Pratii! You aren't dressed yet?! And you! You are supposed to be the centre of attention today.. Why aren't you dressed?!" Devika yelled at subhadra and prativindhya who were mixing paints using their hands
"The feast is at evening jiji! It's only morning... I know what you need!" Subhadra got up wiping the paint in her hands on a cloth.. She made devika sit on a chair.. She took a glass of water and handled it to devika.. She sighed with a smile and drank the water
"Is your dress ready?" Devika sounded calm at first.. But getting just a sheepish smile from subhadra she got up from the chair.
"I'm tired of you two!" She left leaving a chuckling subhadra and prativindhya behind
"Go change this dress.. It's full of paint.. I'll go change mine and then we'll go calm mama!" Subhadra said wiping the paint which was on his face
She reached her chamber.. She took a bath and came out of the snanagrah wearing a towel...
"Oh.. I'm sorry.. I just.." Arjun who was searching for something lost his senses seeing her with water drops on her face and body..
She nodded and took her clothes with was on the table beside him
Her breathing increased as he was standing close to her and looking at her lips.. He slowly removed her wet hair from her face with his forefinger.... He cancelled his eyes off her composing himself
He quickly left the chamber thinking that he would make her uncomfortable by his presence
Arjun's POV
I walked downstairs.. I don't know what was happening between us.. We weren't like this.. I can't predict her mood swings.. Sometimes she behaves like she's okay... But she's afraid most of the time..I'd do anything to get my old subhadra back..
My thoughts got interrupted when i saw a face that can bring me peace.. I quickly rushed towards him and hugged him
"Parth! How are You ?!" He said holding my shoulder
"I'm fine...I missed you so much madhav!.. I just thought about you..Where's everyone else?" I asked looking at the gate
"Pithashree and mata is on their way.. I have come with dau" He said and we went outside.. Dau was talking with bhrata yudishtir
He smiled seeing me and hugged me
"How are you?" He asked me
"I'm good dau!" I said with a smile
"Where is subhadra?" Dau asked me.. I told him she was taking bath
"I heard about the incident in gandhar.. Is she doing okay?" Madhav asked in a serious tone
"No madhav.. She's still afraid.. Of everything.." I sighed
"She's gonna be alright Parth.. Now I'm here with you... I promise you'll get your old subhadra back!" He said with an assuring smile giving me hope
