Ive known Ace, for a while now. He asked me about blackbeards whereabouts and told me what he had done. Ever since that day we've been close. "Hey, Ace!!" I shouted "Oi, (Y/n) what's up?" "Let's go hangout in town I'm hungry!!" "Hmm... I am pretty hungry, let's go!!" He went down to the dock and made his way into town and I followed him eagerly. " where should we eat?" He questioned "Hmm... that one!" I pointed to the one on our left. "Alright!" And with that we made our way inside. The interior was nice and simple, we sat down and looked at the menu, "Wow, everything sounds so good! I can't choose!" I said to him, my mouth watered at the thought of food. "I agree, it's so hard to choose what to eat..." " why don't we get everything we want to eat?!" I suggested " I agree! You're so smart (y/n)" he patted my head and grinned The waiter approached us, and asked what we wanted, I showed him the menu and pointed to several items as Ace did the same. I sighed "Ugh, I hate waiting for the food it feels like an eternity...." I complained "Me too, especially when im starving" He chuckled out
"Yosh! It's here!" I grinned looking at all the delicious plates "Yup, let's dig in shall we?" Ace smirked "Thank you for the meal!!" And we begun to dig in I ate my food fast and starting choking, I picked up my glass of water and drank it, trying to push the food down. Ace let out a hearty laugh, "Slow down will ya? Try to savor the flavor of the food." He suggested. "Sorry! I can't help it, food is my weakness!" I admitted "Guess we have one more thing in common!" He patted my head and chuckled "Except you're pretty cute..." he mumbled under his breathe I choked on my food when I heard that "Really?! You mean that?" Ace got all red "I didnt think you'd hear me! But yeah I do mean it..." I grabbed his cheek and shook it "Thanks, Ace! But you're cuter than me!" I giggled "Hey!! I'm not cute!" "Then what do you want me to say? You're hot?" When I said that, Ace had some flames on his shoulder. "Thanks, you really think I'm attractive?" I take a bite of my food and point and fork at him "Hey, you don't realize it but you are like, super attractive!" And at that Ace had a mini fire on his shoulders. I chuckled "Might wanna put that fire out, eh?" I teased "Oh shut up!!" He shouted in embarrassment
I leaned back in my chair and let out a sigh of relief "That was a good meal..." I pat my belly "Yea but I feel like we're missing something... let's get desert! I know a good cafe down the street!" He suggested "Alright let's go!" We got up and walked out I heard behind me "Hey, did they just dine and dash?" We both froze... "Hey, get back here you punks!!" A waiter started to run at us, "Oops, let's go (y/n)!" He grabbed my hand "alright!!" I giggled We ran for sometime and then broke up into an alley, we leaned on the walls and breathed heavy. "Now I could really use some desert..." Ace said "I agree, let's go to that cafe you were talking about?" I suggest "Yes, now follow me!" We peaked out the alley and stepped into the street, we made our way to the cafe. "Ok here it is! They have all types of cakes, you name it they have it!" My mouth watered "Really?!" We stepped inside and we immediately met a delicious smell. "It smells so delicious, that makes me want a cake even more!" I told him We waited in line Ace pointed to the menu behind the counter, "Woah the menu is huge!" I said with stars in my eyes, an excited grin on his face.
We made it to the register and ordered "Can I get a chocolate ice cream cake? And my buddy wants a cake too," "Can I get a (whatever you want) cake? Please and thank you!" We made our way to a table and sat down. After a few minutes of comfortable silence we got our cakes and left. " ace I know a good spot to eat and chill follow me!" "Alright." He chuckled We made our way onto a path in the forest that led to a cliff with a view of the ocean waves and the sun set reflecting off of the ocean. The sky was warm colors like pink, orange and yellow.
We opened the box and I took a bite. My eyes lit up at flavor "Wow, Ace this is amazing! Why didn't you tell me about this place earlier?" I point my fork at him "Sorry! I well I never thought you had a sweet tooth!" "C'mon Ace everyone has a sweet tooth." A couple of seconds of silence followed. "Ace?" "Yes?" ... " I want to thank you for everything you've done, we haven't even know eachother for long and you've already done so much for me.. and I've never been this close to anyone before like I'm close to you." I look down After a few moments of silence Ace talks. "You don't have to thank me, ever since I left my brothers I haven't been this close to anyone like I'm close to you." I hugged him, and felt his warm embrace. I snuggled into him at this new found warmth "You're so warm, Ace" Ace wrapped his arms around me. We sat like this for a few minutes in peace. "I've never hugged someone like I've hugged you Ace.." my eyes met his and our lips so close to together I could almost feel his. "(Y/n) can I kiss you?" He turned red, Before he could say anything, I brought my lips to his. After a second I pulled away, His eyes lost in mine, "Ace I'm so happy! You're my first kiss!" I smiled ear to ear. "You're my first kiss too!" I stared at him in shock "Wait, what is it? Do I have something on my face?" He looked at me confused "Ace I thought you kissed tons of people! Especially when you're so hot!" "Nope, I like to kiss someone I have a deep connection with! And that someone is you!" And he locked his lips on mine The sensation of his lips on mine is addictive and his embrace is so comforting, it's like nothing I've ever felt before.
His lips remained on mine for a few minutes, our kiss turning into a make out sesh, he pulled away, our breath heavy and cheeks red.
"I really like you, Ace. Everything about you is amazing. The feeling of your lips on mine is priceless." I touched my lips with my index finger "I'll cherish it forever!" He looked at me with an adorable smile on his face and he brought his hand to my face and stroke my cheek with his thumb. "I really like you too cutie. I like everything about you! Your hair, your face, your warm personality."
"I don't like you, I love you!" He brought me in for another warm hug "I love you too, ace! Please don't ever let me go, I wish we could stay like this forever!"
