Lakshmila: Time Travel

The 4 months of monsoon passed with much difficulty for Sita and Ram. In this time Urmila, Hanuman and Angad's bond became more strong and Lakshmila's love was blooming but none said anything to the other. Sugriv totally forgot about the promise he made and got busy in the bhog-vilas of his mahal.

It was 1 week over the time monsoon ended. Lakshman gree very impatient and angry and after talking with Ram he marched towards Kishkindha palace. As he marched with anger, Hanuman saw him and went to Tara and explained the situation to her.

She then moved towards the place where the gaurds were having a conversation with Lakshman and asked him to come inside and accept their hospitality. Lakshman denied saying that he was here to deliver his bhaiya's message to maharaj Sugriv so he can't accept the hospitality.

Hanuman till then went to Sugriv and told him that Lakshman is here and is very angry. When asked the reason, he answered that as he(Sugriv) forgot his promise and it is 1 week up so Lakshman is here to remind him of his promise.

Sugriv got scared of Lakshman's anger and told Hanuman to call him here. Hanuman went and took Lakshman to the place Sugriv was sitting in nd also told him to tell Nal, Neil and some more of his ministers to go to other provinces and ask their leaders to come to Kishkindha by tomorrow. Lakshman went there and asked him if he had forgotten his promise.

Sugriv got embarrassed and answered," I just got a little distracted but not to worry as I had already sent Nal, Neil and some more of my trusted ministers to alag alag provinces taki vo log baaki ke vanaro ko ikattha kar sake. Vo sab kal tak aa jayenge"

Lakshman nodded and after talking a bit, he went to the cave. Sugriv took a relieved breath after he went. Lakshman went to the cave and informed Ram and Urmila about it. Ram smiled and nodded and Urmila just looked up from her notebook bit didn't say anything.

The vanaras arrived and came towards the cave. Kesari also came and Hanuman became overwhelmed by seeing him. Ram turned to him and said," Hanumant, tum intezar kiska kar he ho? Jao na." Just as Hanuman heard this, he ran to his father and hugged him.

Urmila had tears in her eyes seeing the love showered on Hanuman by Kesari. She had that longing in her eyes. Lakshman saw this and kept a hand on her shoulder. She wiped her tears and turned to him smiling. He asked her if something was wrong. She just shook her head smiling.

Lakshman was not convinced but let it go for then. All of them settled inside the cave and started the discussion. It was decided that 4 different teams will go in 4 different directions.

Team 1:-

Direction- West

Leader: Sushen. (Not Sushen Vaidya).

Team 2:-

Direction- North

Leader- Shatbali. (A vanar with power of 100 men).

Team 3:-

Direction- East

Leader- Vinat. (He was given 1000 vanaras also becoz of the rough eastern terrain).

Team 4:-

Direction- South

Leader- Angad. (With Nal-Neel, Jamavant and Hanuman).

After Sugriv announced this Urmila was confused. "Aur main?" She asked. "Tum kya?" Lakshman asked. "Main kiske saath jaungi?" Urmila said. "Tumhe kyu jana hai?" He asked. "To matlab tum chahte ho main yaha tumhare saath ruk kar bore ho jau?" She asked narrowing her eyes.

"Vo sab mujhe nahi pta par tum nahi jaogi." Lakshman said in no-nonsense voice. "Main jaungi." She said stubbornly. "Tum nahi jaogi." Lakshman said standing up. "Main jaungi." Urmila said also standing up. "Acha, kiske saath jaogi?" Lakshman asked. "Main....main kiske saath jaungi?" She asked herself and Lakshman smirked.

"Main jaungi na. Umm.... Bhalu kaka, Kal-Keel, Dunger aur-" She was interrupted by Hanuman, as he knew that next turn was his, by saying," Haan hum samajh gaye. Tumhe humare saath aana hai?" Urmila nodded.

"Tum kisi ke saath nhi jaogi." Lakshman said sternly. "Haan aji humbe jaroor. Tumhi to rokoge mujhe." Urmila said sarcastically. "Challenge?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Urmi, Lakshman sahi keh rha hai, kya karogi tum vahan jaakar?" Ram said. "Par bhaiya, yaha pe main bore ho jaungi." Urmila whined. "Urmila." Ram said sternly and she kept quiet with a very sad face. She was sighing constantly in sadness.

Angad found it hilarious and was laughing silently. Urmila by chance glanced at him. "Terko badi hasi aa rhi hai." She said to him and he immediately shut up. "To thik hai kal milte hain." Ram said standing up and Urmila went out before anyone to show her anger muttering," Koi mujhse prem nhi karta. Sab apne man ki chlate hain. Na kaliyug mein koi kuch man karne deta tha na yaha."

"Inhe kya hua?" Kesari asked. "Pitashree ye naraaz hai." Hanuman answered. "Kisse?" Kesari asked confused. "Hum sabse. Ab ise manana padega." Angad said sighing dejectedly. "Aap dono ko to aadat hogi." Nal asked Hanuman and Angad. "Nahi vo itni jaldi naaraz nhi hoti." Hanuman said worriedly.

"Chalo chalte hain." Lakshman said and he and Ram went out followed by the others. On the other side, Urmila was sulking sitting on a rock near the river.

"Koi bhi mujhe pyar nhi karta. Sab mere upar hukum chalate hain. Main koi pagal hu jo inki har baat manu? Ab ke baad nhi maanungi koi bhi baat in logo ki." She said to herself and then stood up and went towards the cave.

She reached the cave and was welcomed by the stern face of Lakshman. "Kaha thi?" He asked. "Kahi bhi jaun tumhe kya fark padta hai?" She said moving inside. "Kyu farak nhi padta mujhe? Tumhare khch ho gya to?" He asked her. "Chhoti si balak nhi hu main. I can handle myself." She said, her voice rising a bit.

"Han han thik hai, thik hai." Lakshman said and went outside and Urmila sighed and seeing the time, started preparing dinner. At night as they were eating, Lakshman asked for water. "Mila zara pani dena." He asked her. "Bhagwan ji ne haath diye vo bhi 2. Unka use karo aur pani le lo." Urmila said simply. "Yar paani-" Lakshman started but Urmila cut him off saying,"Tumhare pass rakha hai. Thoda sa uth kar le lo. Mujhe pura ghum kar jaana padega."

Lakshman stood up and took water by himself. "Tumhare kya hua?" He asked her. "Mujhe kya hua? Mujhe kuch nhi hua? Kya hi hoga mujhe? Kyuki kya hai na mujh par mere alava saare hukum chala sakte hain. Kaha jaana hai, kab jaana hai, kyu jaana hai, ye sab mere alava sab decide karte hain." She said. "Kya padhna hai, kya aim rakhni hai, kya pehnna hai. Kabhi mere haath mein kuch hota hi nhi hai." She added and stood up as her food finished and stormed outside.

"Ise kya hua hai?" Ram asked. "Gussa hai." Lakshman answered. "Kyu?" Ram asked and Lakshman shrugged. "Ek baari dekh ke aao ki vo thik to hai." Ram told Lakshman. "Bhaiya kal tak thik ho jayegi." Lakshman assured him. "Tum khte ho maan leta hu." Ram said.
