On September 11, 2001, one was among the first to respond at the Twin Towers in New York. When the dust settled, one from St. Paul and one from Chicago had joined the fight. Three firefighters were linked by a disaster that would forever haunt them, forever bond them more than any other firefighters.
On September 11, 2021, two captains and one deputy district chief return to the city where their firefighting careers changed forever. This time, neither Owen Strand, Bobby Nash, nor Wallace Boden are alone when they face the memories of 9/11.
