Renjun POV
Italics for his thoughts

Renjun arrived at the Liu office building, feeling nervous. He had decided to go for lunch with Yangyang, but he was also determined to maintain some distance and not let himself get carried away again.

As he entered the office, he spotted Yangyang standing near the reception area, talking to one of his employees. Renjun approached cautiously, trying to keep a safe distance.

"Hey, Renjun!" Yangyang greeted cheerfully, flashing a warm smile. "I didn't expect to see you here so soon."

"Yeah, I was in the area, so I thought I'd drop by before we go to lunch," Renjun replied, trying to act casual.

"That sounds great! Let's go," Yangyang said, leading the way towards the elevator.

As they entered the elevator, Renjun positioned himself as far away from Yangyang as possible, almost pressing himself against the corner. Yangyang couldn't help but notice the awkwardness and found it amusing.

He decided to play along and stepped closer to Renjun, causing the latter to shift uncomfortably. Yangyang held back a laugh, pretending not to notice Renjun's attempt to avoid physical contact.

During the elevator ride, Yangyang made some small talk, but Renjun was too preoccupied with maintaining his personal space to fully engage in the conversation. Yangyang's mischievous side was enjoying the situation, and he couldn't resist teasing Renjun a bit more.

Renjun wanted to get out of the lift as soon as possible. He didn't want to fall for Yangyang's charms and end up like yesterday.

Why is this elevator so slow omg!

The elevator came to a stop and both men exited.

Renjun quickly stepped out of the elevator, hoping to create some distance. Yangyang, however, was not deterred and walked right alongside him, almost matching his every step.

Renjun began to feel like he was in some sort of funny dance, trying to avoid being too close to Yangyang. At one point, he even pretended to be interested in something on the other side of the hallway just to create some space.

Yangyang found this hilarious and couldn't help but laugh. "Renjun, you're really funny, you know that?" he said, trying to suppress his laughter.

Renjun blushed, feeling a mix of embarrassment and amusement. "I, uh, I just don't want you closer than one hand's distance to me," he stammered.

"Why not?"

"Because I might lose control and invade your personal space!"

"Invade your personal space?" Yangyang repeated, chuckling. "You do know we're going to have to get close if we're going to be married, right?"

Renjun's eyes widened at the reminder.

I can't let Yangyang keep using the marriage card on me!

"And after last night, I don't think we need to be worried about personal space anymore." Yangyang continued as he moved even closer to him.

Renjun put his hands on Yangyang's chest in a futile attempt to keep him at bay. "You should really stop doing that!"

"Why? Am I distracting you?"

"No, it's just that..." Renjun trailed off.

He couldn't think straight, and the feel of Yangyang's firm chest under his palms was not helping his train of thought.

"It's just that what?"

"You're very distracting," he admitted.

Yangyang smirked. "Really? That's a good thing, right?"

"If a heart attack is what you want me to get, then yes," Renjun said, giving up on keeping a distance between them. He crossed his arms and huffed, "You are the worst."

Yangyang's smirk grew even wider, and his eyes started to shine.

Renjun gulped, realizing he might have given him too much praise.

"I don't want you to have a heart attack. I just want you to admit your feelings for me," he said before leaning closer to his face.

"Don't you dare," Renjun warned, but it was too late.

Yangyang's lips were already on his.

Renjun gasped and closed his eyes, trying his best not to melt. He hated how much he liked this, but he was already weak for his stupid smile.

I can't believe I'm being distracted by his stupid kisses right now.

He pushed away and tried his best to look angry. "I told you to stop doing that."

"You're not stopping me," Yangyang said with a challenging smile.

"Yangyang, we can't just kiss randomly like that!" Renjun scolded, trying to regain control of the situation.

"Who said anything about random? I thought it was the perfect time," Yangyang said with a sly grin, enjoying the way he could easily get under Renjun's skin.

Renjun rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help but be charmed by Yangyang's playfulness. "You're impossible," he muttered, but a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips.

Yangyang laughed, pleased with himself for being able to elicit such a reaction from Renjun. "Come on, let's go get lunch. I promise I'll behave... for now," he teased.

As they walked to the restaurant, Renjun found himself relaxing in Yangyang's presence. Despite the initial awkwardness and attempts to maintain distance, he realized that he was actually enjoying himself.

Once they finished their meal, Yangyang leaned in closer to Renjun, his eyes sparkling mischievously. "So, are you still trying to avoid physical contact with me?" he asked teasingly.

Renjun blushed but mustered up some courage to playfully push Yangyang away. "Maybe... a little," he admitted.

Yangyang chuckled and pulled him back into a gentle embrace. "Well, I guess I'll just have to work on breaking down those barriers," he said, leaning in to give Renjun a quick peck on the cheek.

"You're incorrigible," Renjun said, but there was a fondness in his tone.

"I prefer to think of it as charming," Yangyang replied with a wink.

They continued to walk back to the office building, and this time, Renjun didn't shy away from Yangyang's side.
