Within ten minutes I had noticed this was not a fun night to camp under the stars. It was some field party, alcohol was everywhere on the field where everyone was surrounded, and the smell of weed was so god damn strong.
Best behaviour Zac, do not fall for the temptations. One puff wouldn't be bad right?
I was sat down beside the fire, with Lauren across from me. Her eyes had become hazed over from the blunt she had smoked the second we got here, the fire illuminating her features perfectly.
The arms of some random girl had come around me, before she whispered some slurred inaudible words into my ear. It was half nine, and I wondered how long everyone had been drinking. Looking around, some were spread out on the floor, 'wowing' at the night sky, some stumbling around as others swayed to the music that was playing through the speakers set up from the large SUV.
The girl had finally pulled herself off of me and disappeared into one of the larger tents, which a group of people then followed into. Luis had worked his way through people, sipping drinks from random people that littered the place, before kissing sloppily at Lauren's neck, which earned a smile and giggle from her.
''Zac!!!!''
Oh fuck... I've heard that voice before. No holy fuck please don't let it be... Yep it's Bobbi.
Bobbi happened to be a friend of my ex, Mollie. She was also a dancer, that's how the two met. And they've always remained the best of friends. Before I could run away, I felt her weight on my lap and her arms wrapped around my neck as she hugged me into her.
Look, don't get me wrong, she was cool. But after everything happened, she chose to fuck off with Mollie, knowing what had happened and my current situation. I hadn't heard from her since it all happened, yet here she is. The snake in the grass. Her arms all over me and being fake as usual. By cool, I meant she used to be cool.
''Hi Bobbi.''
''Aww, is that all you have to say. It's been what, months?''
''Years actually, now can you get off of me.'' I demanded, keeping my eyes away from hers, otherwise it would be like meeting the devils eyes.
''Don't be so mean and so boring.'' She whined, rocking her hips against me. Not going to happen, that down in my pants would never react to anything you tried. Dumbass.
''Bobbi, get off and go over to your friends. We aren't friends.''
''Wow, you've so fucking changed. I see why she did what she did.''
''Fuck off Bobbi, you know nothing. So how about you go back to the fuck boys you're always surrounding yourself with, and get the fuck out of my face.''
Like my mother, she also knew how to get a rise out of me. Get my temper rising because that's all she ever did in the past. She always got butt hurt when Mollie chose to spend her time with me, and if we all were spending time together. She'd beg for Mollie's attention, though she talked shit behind her back most of the time.
Mollie did the same back to her, so who gives a fuck. Lifting her off of my lap, I walked over and took the joint from Lauren's lips, holding out my hand for the lighter. She smirked up at me, and sparked up the lighter, before holding it at the end of the joint.
Taking in four strong deep breaths, the paper crackled from the fire before it came into contact with the green substance. Inhaling deeply, I blew the smoke out of the side of my mouth. Lauren licked her lips, raising her eyebrow up at me.
''And you talk shit about me smoking that stuff. Look at you Mr.Grey, hitting it like it's an everyday thing for you.''
Inhaling another long drag, I smirked over her and blew the smoke directly into her somewhat open mouth to which she gladly took.
