With the practical exam concluded, Akira stepped out of the battle centre, her heart still pounding from the adrenaline rush of the battle. She took a deep breath, savouring the feeling of accomplishment that washed over her. She had done it—she had faced the challenges head-on and emerged victorious.

She hadn't counted how many points she got, but she knew she got a fair amount.

As she made her way towards the exit, she couldn't help but wonder how Bakugou had fared in his exam. She knew he was fiercely competitive and always pushed himself to the limit. People could never understand how the two of them were friends, they were complete opposites, not to mention, at first, Bakugou had hated the girl.

Just as she was lost in her thoughts, she spotted Bakugou standing near a tree, his arms crossed and a scowl on his face. She couldn't help but chuckle at his usual grumpy demeanour.

"Hey, Bakugou!" she called out, walking over to him with a bright smile.

He turned to look at her, his crimson eyes meeting hers. "Hey," he grumbled in response, but she could sense a hint of relief in his voice.

"So, how did it go?" Akira asked, genuinely curious about his exam.

Bakugou huffed, running a hand through his spiky blond hair. "As if I need to tell you. Obviously, I crushed it," he boasted, his pride evident as his posture straightened slightly.

Akira rolled her eyes playfully. "Of course, you did. You're a powerhouse, after all," she said, giving him a playful nudge. Her laugh brought about a small pink tint to his cheeks, making him turn his head away from her for a few moments before regaining his composure.

Bakugou scoffed but didn't deny the compliment. "And what about you, Angel? How'd you do in there?" he asked, using the nickname he had given her due to her angelic wings and compassionate nature.

Akira blushed slightly at the nickname, but she was used to it by now. "I think it went well. I managed to take down all the faux villains and helped a fellow examinee too," she replied, her voice filled with a sense of accomplishment.

Bakugou raised an eyebrow, looking mildly impressed. "Not bad, I guess. You're not as useless as I thought," he said, the hint of a smirk playing on his lips. She rolled her eyes, she knew that he was joking, that's just how it was, and usually she was able to just brush it off, but sometimes it did get to her

"Thanks, I think," Akira chuckled, shaking her head. "You know, Bakugou, you could be a bit nicer sometimes."

He grumbled something incoherent in response, but she could tell her words had gotten through to him, even if just a little. He spat his fair share of insults at her now and then, but if anyone else were to have done it, he was quick to her defence, burning whoever had said anything without worrying about the consequences.

As they continued to talk, Akira noticed that Bakugou's guard seemed to lower slightly. She knew that he rarely opened up to others, but she felt privileged to be one of the few he allowed into his inner circle.

They talked about their plans for the future, their dreams of becoming top heroes, and the challenges that lay ahead. Akira found comfort in Bakugou's unwavering determination and felt inspired by his fierce resolve.

Akira laughed at Bakugou's snarky remarks about some of the more eccentric students who were in his exam, and he couldn't help but crack a smile at her infectious laughter. "there was this guy with like tape arms and they were flailing all over the place? It was like he was wrestling with himself," Bakugou commented and Akira chuckled, trying to paint a picture in her head.
