Chp 24: "The Raft"

Currently we see Sam waking up with a smile on his face after the night he and Gwen has last night, just enjoying each others company and traveling the city after finnaly coming clean to eacother about they're feelings, Sam went downstairs to see his mother wasn't home so he ate breakfast and suited up as he was heading over to feast, Sam then calls miles to see how he's doing since lee's arrest

Miles: hey Sam, what's going on man?

Sam: hey man, I just wanted to see how you were doing with the news about Lee, look man if you didn't wanna work there anymore then I would completely understand

Miles: I did wanna quit when I heard...but then I rember what my dad used to say, "a heros just a guy who doesn't give up"

Sam: facts, and assuming he's doing the right thing, me and Pete got you in on that job, I'd hate for you to keep doing it if you feel it's wrong

Miles: well the people here, nothing martin Lee did is there fault, they need help and I'm helping them, I think dad would want me to stay...I think he'd be proud

Sam: oh for sure he would, I'm proud of you too man...call me anytime miles, I got you bro

Miles: thanks man, okay gotta go, may just gave me a list of all the supplies to get

Miles said as he hung up, Sam then swings his way over to feast as he makes it to the roof and changes out of his suit

Sam heads to the front door as he runs into Peter on the way and the two head over to the kitchen to see may

May: Peter, Sam

Peter: you okay?

May: I'm getting by

Peter: I don't know how I feel about you running this place all by yourself

May: hmm?, Oh I'm not running it on my own

May says as the two were confused and to sam's surprise he saw his mother enter the room while carrying supplies

Julie: okay may, I've got enough to keep the people fed for- oh hi Sam

Sam: mom?!, What are you doing here?

Julie: this is the new job offer I was talking

Sam: so you help may run feast now?

Julie: these people need help, if we end up losing a few hours of sleep so be it

Julie said as peter looked at may

Peter: so have you heard from Mr Lee since...?

May: no, but the martin I know couldn't have done that...whatever's become of him that's not the person I wanna remember

May said as it was quite for a bit, Julie then looked at Sam as she spoke

Julie: so....how are things with Gwen?

Sam: huh?, Oh she's uh...her and I kind of...w-we got together

Sam said as they looked at Sam in suprise

Peter: you guys got toghter?

Julie: really?, Since when?

Julie asked with excitement in her tone

Sam: well yesterday actually

Julie: oh I'm so happy for you Sammy

Julie was squeezing Sam and showering him with kisses as Sam escaped her grasp

Sam: stop doing that everytime something good comes up

Julie: too bad, I'll do it if I want

Julie said as they heard the TV turn on and they all turn to see the news playing as it showed the sable truck carrying devil's breath was hijacked
