Currently the three spiders were swinging throught the city as they get a call from MJ

MJ: hey guys, I might've found black cats next target

Gwen: how?

MJ: because according to police dispatch there was just a burglary matching her M.O., ill send you guys tge location

Sam: thanks MJ

MJ: one more thing, Pete if you find her, dont let her play you again

Peter: yeah, I'll be on guard, she's...I don't know, she just seems to bring bad luck wherever she goes

Gwen: black cat brings bad luck?

Sam: I don't know Pete, that just seems a little on the nose

The three swing thyre way over to the scene as they see ambulances and cop cars

Peter: Felicia, what have you done this time?

Sam: the cops blocked off the whole street, if we can pick up her trail then maybe we can catch up to her

Gwen: maybe that EMT can tell us what happened

Peter: what happened here?

EMT: spiders...uhh, I heard someone stole a rare book or something

Gwen: is the guard gonna be alright?

EMT: pretty bad case of photokeratitis, basically a flash burn of his corneas, but he'll recover

Sam: let's go check the ally, if she did do this then we gotta catch up fast

The three spiders head into the allyway as they spot magnesium flare burned into the ground as peter inspects it, his lenses start to run a diagnostic as he analyzes the residue

Peter: got it, the trail leads this way

Sam and Gwen follow Peter as the trail goes on, Sam then notices peter looking distressed

Sam: you good Pete?

Peter: huh?, Oh yeah I'm good

Gwen: no I can see it too, come Peter you can tell us anything

Peter: *sighs*, I can't be a dad, I mean technically I can be but...uhh, I need to tell MJ, she'll know what to do, but how am i gonna tell her

Gwen: I say just wait until we catch up to cat, let's hear it from her first and you tell MJ when you feel the times right

The three make it halfway through the trail as they see a thug on the ground as they approach him, that was until more thugs show up and run at the three

Thug: the spiders ko'd Vito!, take them out!

Sam: bruh we didn't do anything!

Gwen: I don't think thyre here to listen

The three charge at them as they start attacking the thugs

Peter: ever think maybe Vito got ko'd for acting exactly like this?

Thug: the Cicero's were right, the spiders are working for hammerhead
