Chp: 71: "Trouble at Feast"

Currently we see Sam and Gwen sleeping together in the guest bed as Sam was the first to open his eyes, Sam runs his eyes I'm a tired state as he looked to his right to see Gwen sleeping peacefully as she was mildly drooling, Sam couldn't stand how cute she looked as he smiles and plants a kiss on her forehead, Sam gets out of bed trying not to wake up Gwen as he gets dressed and exited the room as he walked to the kitchen

Sam made coffee along with waffles and bacon and eggs, Sam makes three plates as he writes a note for Gwen and puts it on her plate as it read "went out to help my mom with feast, see you soon for patrol love❤️"

That was until miles entered the kitchen as they greet eacother

Sam: mornin

Miles: morning man, what are you making?

Sam: just basic breakfast, I figured you could use it after what happened last night

Miles: Gwen still asleep?

Sam: yeah, I'm gonna head out soon cus I saw on the app that she requested help since feast in Harlem isn't doing good right now, something about water troubles

Miles: I see, I'm gonna head out too cus I gotta think about what I'm gonna say to phin

Sam: you're meeting her?, where?

Miles: Trinity church, I'm gonna call her later and at least hope she'd be willing to talk

Sam: I'm sure she will, and if you need help were only a call away man

Miles: appreciate it man, if something comes up I'll call you guys

Sam: good, now eat up, I put alot of love into that food

We cut to Sam swinging in his suit as he makes it to feast in Harlem, Sam lands on the roof as he enters the stairs way, we cut to Sam in casual clothes as he heads towards the entrance to feast only to see some of the people taking refuge in the nearby park, Sam spots Julie stirring up soup to try and keep the people warm, Sam approached her as he asks what's wrong

Sam: hey mom, what's going on?, why is everyone outside?

Julie: a pipe burst, we cleaned it up but the city won't let us open back up until the plumbings fixed, I've had it repaired three times already but it keeps breaking down

Sam: could you send people to the other fest shelters?

Julie: thyre at capacity, everyone here doesn't have anywhere else to go, were trying to keep people warm and fed, but in this whether, it won't be easy

Sam: anything I can do to help?

Julie: yeah actually, do you think you could check on the people camera in the park honey?

Sam: gladly

Julie: then enjoy your Vacation, you, Gwen and miles all deserve it

Sam: yeah yeah

Sam smiles as he heads into the park and looks around to see someone having trouble with setting up a tent as he goes to help

Sam: I'll get that

Gloria: thanks, I'm Gloria, I just started volunteering at feast a week ago

Sam: oh yeah, my mom introduced us at the rally rember?

Gloria: yeah, I rember now

Sam: mom said that the city won't reopen the building

Gloria: thyre being weirdly stubborn, and they pulled up so fast to kick us out, less than an hour after the flood, weird...
