When the identity of the kanima is discovered, everyone sets out to make sense of the new information, while Allison faces more pressure from her family.

Third Person POV

~Previously~

Minutes later, after more chaos in the house, the front door opens, Derek, Boyd, and Chloe are still standing outside as Erica and Isaac get thrown out of the house. Chloe moves to catch them, Isaac with one arm and Erica with the other before laying them down in the grass as Derek watches, questioning his life choices. Chloe's gaze shifts to the door as Scott, Allison, and Stiles walk out. "Well, that was fun." Chloe scoffs.

Derek looks up at the three of them, "I think I'm finally getting why you keep refusing me, Scott. You're not an Omega— you're already an Alpha of your own pack." He smirks, "But, you know you can't beat me."

"I can hold you off until the cops get here." Scott responds.

Derek's smirk immediately drops when he hears the sirens of police cars coming down the road. "We should go, Babe. I don't know about you... but I don't want to get arrested again." Chloe looks at Derek.

He's about to respond when the sound of hissing on the roof catches everyone's attention. Scott, Allison, Stiles all run away from the door to get a better look at the source of the sound... the Kanima. Seeing that it's being watched, it screeches at the group, causing everyone except Derek and Chloe to flinch before the monster rushes off. "Get them out of here." Derek says to Boyd, looking down at Erica and Isaac.

"Any paralysis should wear off in a few hours." Chloe adds.

Everyone's attention turns back to the door as they hear someone walk out... Lydia. "Would someone please tell me what the hell is going on???" She asks, furiously.

"Oh, shit." Chloe sighs to herself nervously as she looks at the ground.

"...It's Jackson." Scott realizes.

~Now~

Realizing it's Jackson, Chloe and Derek immediately run after him. "Guess my spell worked too efficiently!" Chloe jokingly complains, proud of herself, as she runs.

"We can talk about your use of magic later." Derek groans.

"Says the one who's holding himself back." Chloe scoffs, using her magic to launch herself over the fence ahead of him, tucking and rolling as she lands. Rolling his eyes Derek quickly follows, jumping over the metal barrier, as he lands he shifts into his partial wolf form... his eyes glowing red. Chloe smirks at him as hers glow green, "I never get tired of that." She says before they start running again.

Meanwhile Allison drops Lydia off at her house, they sit there in her car for a moment in silence before Allison sighs and finally speaks, "I need you to promise that you won't say anything about what just happened."

"I'll promise not to say anything about what just happened if you can tell me what the hell just happened..." Lydia responds, not understanding.

"It's-it's kind of complicated." Allison answers, hesitantly.

"Well, how about you start with why was Derek there?... Or why Chloe was there?... Or where Jackson was?... Or what is wrong with Erica?" She rambles off questions, irritably. Allison hesitates, "Oh, do you need a minute to come up with a plausible lie?" Lydia scoffs.

Allison sighs, "Part of the reason why I'm asking is because Scott and I aren't supposed to be seeing each other, okay? So, it's better if you just keep what you know to yourself." She pleads.
