Getting Closer

Masao POV -
I had to go to XYZ mall so I was was taking a train. I was peacefully sitting there listening to music when the train stopped and I saw that red haired girl entering. I shifted and made some space for her beside me. I knew Nene did not wanted to sit with me but the train was packed so she had no other choice. Nene has been avoiding me for a week or two now and idk why. What happened to her ? Is she mad at me but she won't avoid me if she was mad at me instead she would beat me. She never avoided me like this. I just wanted to talk to her and ask her that is she ok ? Cause she didn't look pretty good. I took my air pods out of my ear and said

Masao - Hi Nene-Chan
Nene - Hey (in a emotionless tone)
Masao - So where are you going ?
Nene- Tokiyo
Masao-Why
Nene - Some friends invited me to this party
Masao- Ooh

Then there was this awkward silence between us which I hated and Nene was showing all sings that she don't want to talk to me so I put my air pods back on.after a while like 10-15 minutes I felt some weight on my right shoulder. I looked it was Nene peacefully sleeping on my shoulder. On my she looks so calm and pretty while sleeping like an angle ( too bad my girl can also be a devil) I blushed . I could feel the butterflies in my stomach

Time skip - After 30 min

Nene POV -
I heard some voice "Nene,Nene wake up ! Nene"god who is it ! I tried to open my eyes and then realised  my head was on Masao's sholder. I looked at him he looks kinda cute wait what am i thinking ? I felt my cheeks heating up we are soo close !! I pulled away as soon as I could

Masao- Nene, Tokiyo station is just about to come
Nene - Ok t-tanks ( said quickly )

No one's POV-
Tokiyo station came . Befour leaving Nene turned to Masao blushing and said

Nene - Umm... Masao-kun By the way can I ask you a question ?
Masao - Yeah..sure

Masao was shocked as Nene never used honorific in his name.

Nene - Umm....umm Masao are u going to hangout with Sara ?
Masao- Um No, I am just going to the mall to buy some art supplies
Nene - Oh Ok Bye !
Masao - Bye

Nene got off train as quickly as she could and with a smile tha was not visible on her lips while Masao looked out of the window and whispered underneath his breath " What a day it was "

Time skip ( 11:30 PM) -

Nene was on her bed scoring her insta when she came across a post it was of Masao. in that picture Masao and Sara were showing their artwork "God  why are these love birds need to be so cuddly" ( Actually they were not that close they were maintaing the distance friends should. Nene is just beaing overprotective) A feeling of anger came over her. Nene was kind of familiar with it by now but still did not knew what it was. 
Now Nene thinks that Masao and Sara are in a relationship.
Masao and Sara became really close now they spend a lot of time together talking and doodling. They literally became bestfriends now and people often misunderstands them as they are dating just like Nene did. Nene has now distanced herself from Masao and is avoiding him but Masao doesn't let her do that and tries to hangout with her. Masao tired asking Nene that what is wrong with her but never got a clear answer. Honestly Nene also don't know
why the hell is she doing this to Masao and feeling like this
