DANIELLE POV
I didn't give Haerin an answer. I couldn't. I don't know myself on that. Haerin seems to understand and stay awhile before leaving. I like how she stayed for awhile. She even apologize for slapping me last night. We share laughs together then she told me she have to go.
As I work on things that is on my schedule, I couldn't keep Haerin out of my mind. She always find a way to come back in. To the point I gave up and just stare at her picture.
My phone light up because of a text message. It's from my mom. She's reminding me that the trip is tomorrow at 5am.
So I text Haerin on what she needs to know. Sadly, I didn't get a text back which I was hoping for.
I finished my job later than usual. If it wasn't for Haerin, I'd be out hours ago. I send my Assistant a message. A message that if anything comes in, just hang on to it because I won't be in office the next few days.
HAERIN POV
"I hate not being able to come to practice and find out what you have in reserve, but this is somewhat important, Mina Unnie," I wait for her to understand what I have just said.
"What are you saying?" She ask.
"We will have to wait, Danielle and I are going a trip and I hate to go, but it's a have to," I try to sound guilty.
"But Haerin, next month you're doing a performance with Jay. A performance that'll help you."
"I know, but don't worry. I can learn really fast. I'll impress you like every other times."
"So it'll be this whole week?"
"Unfortunately, so I'd see you next Monday," today is Wednesday.
"Well then, let's practice what we can today. I have put some dances together already," she sounds disappointed. An hour practicing with Mina Unnie, Jay arrive with his choreographer. Unnie and I went to introduce ourselves and then Unnie went to talk to Jay's choreographer.
"Let's dance together," Jay suggests. I nod and do the ballet ahead then He follows behind me.
I raise my arms and momentarily close my eyes. I feel Jay touch my wrists then glide his hand to hold my hand. I open my eyes and know that we shouldn't do that, so I pull my hands away.
"I'm sorry, you must not like it," I hear him.
"We shouldn't be holding hands unless it's necessary," I look at him from behind then walk away.
At noon, the four of us went out and have a meal together before departure. It was uncomfortable how Jay kept looking at me. His coach, couldn't stop talking about the news of Danielle and I. Then Mina Unnie hop onto the conversation. It was just overwhelming, so most of the time I wasn't even listening. I thought back to this morning when Danielle didn't answer my question: Does she love me? Even if she doesn't give me an answer, I think I have an idea.
So after lunch, I drove back home. Danielle isn't here so it's just me. I figure to shower before going to a store to get my outfit ready. I literally have a wardrobe full of ballet oufit at the store I'm going to, like why not reuse them? But it isn't my money so it's whatever.
After doing my business and going out again. I was ask to see what I like. The woman who takes care of putting my outfit together measures me. She said my measurements are the same as always. After getting that out of the way, it has already been 3pm. I have selected three outfits and there is still one more to go and that will be decided with Jay.
By the end of the day, I am really tired. So once I got home, I took a nap.
DANIELLE POV
The house is quite even if the lights are on. I don't see Haerin anywhere, not in the kitchen, living room, or workout room, but her car is here.
I found her sleeping beautifully. I walk over and pull a chair beside the bed. I sit and lean forward. My hand reach out to touch her cheek. My action made her stir so I pull my hand away. Haerin flutter her eyes open. "DANI? Why, when did you get back?" Her voice sounds lovely after waking up.
"Tired, are you?" I smile and caress her cheek again. Surprisingly, she lean against my touch.
"I need sleep for tomorrow when we leave."
"Right, but you haven't pack yet."
"I'll get to it."
I stand up but Haerin grabs my hand.
"You need something?"
"Please Stay."
I slowly nod then sit down again. "What did you do today?"
"Ballet, dance, ballet, and dance," she rolls her eyes then look at the watch on my wrist. "Oh, it's six already? I've been asleep for three hours now."
"Then get up,"
Haerin yawn and let go of my hand. "In a bit."
"Tell me about your ballet team," I ask. Weird question, but let's just go with that.
"My team hmm. I have supportive choreographer and manager Mina Unnie, loving director Lisa Unnie, and coming competition I will perform with a partner." she shortly explains.
"The last sentence she said made me feel a little jealous.".. I just nod then we just stare at each other.
"Tell me about your team," she ask my question back to me. "Generally, we just promote. I have small teams that buys art."
"So it is why you bought me," I smile and so did she.
"Must be a coincidence. Well, we're leaving tomorrow so I suggest you pack then come down for dinner. I got McDonald's."
"I'll have McDonald's first," she giggles.
I stand up and she got out of bed. We both head downstairs and have dinner together for the second time.
"Good night, Dani," I hear Haerin. Turning around, she is smiling at me. I nod and smile back.
"Good night, Kang Kitty."
