We got closer
As the days passed
I knew everything of yours
As you knew of mine.
Didn't know what it was
But you had an impact on me
Even my own parents
Wondered if something happened to me.
I wanted to tell you
That I was loving you
Got tired of keeping it as a secret
But I wanted you to do it first.
While talking to me on the park bench
You laughed at me
For the question I asked (which was)
"Aren't we close friends?"
You shook your head(while laughing)
And said, "something more than that"
I laughed it off and continued talking
And I was sure(about it).
