The day came
Which I've been waiting
For months, but
In the end, you made me happy.
You were nervous
To say it out loud
I was also nervous
But you made it.
I sat near you
We talked and talked
And I saw you realize
That it was time.
You leaned in
I didn't move away
I wanted it
More than anything.
You pressed your lips onto mine
Which were so soft and sweet
Demanded with hunger
I returned with the same hunger.
You broke away after a minute
Looking deep into my eyes
As if to know what I felt
I know you wanted to linger there.
You had been waiting for me
To give in as I wanted you to do it
My eyes sparkled
As you told me everything you had for me.
I smiled and said what I had felt
We realized that we both were feeling the same
Looked at me with hope
As if asking for me to give in.
This time, I gave in
I felt your hands cup my cheeks
My heart was racing and I breathed so fast
And we hungrily kissed.
