Jacqueline Lacroix is a student at one of the largest universities in Great Britain, but she is faced with an unpleasant fact. Her parents are in debt and she decides to give them her scholarship money necessarily. After fierce and unequal quarrels with her parents, she leaves her home and lives in the student dormitory in appalling conditions. She works as a luxury mistress to pay for university tuition, while struggling with her own psychic demons, posing various questions about her future and present. Andrew Barch, brother of her professor George Birch, enters her life in an unexpected way, like a client. Andrew is a mysterious character and searches within himself for answers to many internal problems that concern him. A former fetishist and determined to turn to more meaningful things, he takes his brother's place on an upcoming date. While George Birch is trapped, in a mistake of his own, in a social contract that he did not choose, but was pressured by society itself.
