The boy and I take the cure and walk to the top of the skyscraper.
We make it up to the top and find a skeleton with barely skin on it and blood surrounding it.
There is a mechanical system so I hook the cure up to it.
"We might die from this," I say to the boy.
He says,"I know. But at least we leave this place knowing we kicked ass."
"What's your name," I ask.
He replies,"Cooper. Let's hook this stuff up."
I hook it up a blue gas covers the city. My lungs fill with pressure like a rusty knife slowly killing me in the lungs.
I die.
The Defects die and the world is back to normal. Well after a few hundred years later.
And that's how, this zombie series ends.
I guess we can all say...
