1...take a long rectangular piece of clean cotton fabric. The length and breadth depends on the thickness you want the tampon to be.
2...leave an extra thinker rectangle at the end about the same size as the length. This serves two purpose
3... to assemble the tampon roll it up tightly. Fold in the annoying corner. Then use the thinner rectangle to tie and hold the tampon in place. Do not tie it too tightly and make sure it easily comes out. The remaining part is to be the string to take out the tampon.
4...this method helps to properly clean out the tampon as well as dry it quickly
