SYNOPSIS:
As the duo continues their journey across Pyrrhia, they are suddenly encountered by a group of marauders, who seek Nia for her gifted knowledge. Attacked and separated by a group of MudWings, Aeris must fight his way back and find Nia before she is taken away by the SandWing princess.

[scene begins with Reela arriving at the abandoned town, where she notices a group of SkyWings helping those who were attacked. She lands on one of the streets, turning left and noticing a SkyWing's corpse being dragged away]
HILDON: And then an explosive came outta nowhere and blew the entire tower. We lost where they went. [follows after Malu as she walks away] Malu, sixteen of our guys were killed.
MALU: Yeah, but I'm supposed to give a shit? [turns around and stares at Hildon] That was our chance at the NightWing, our chance at control. [rubs her temples in irritation] Three moons.
HILDON: We can find them.
MALU: [scoffs] Good luck. You wouldn't even get past thirty miles from here before someone kills you. Look, we've tried, Hildon, but every one of our dragons never came back.
REELA: That's because you're not taking the right way.
[Malu and Hildon turn to where the voice came from, and they see Reela approaching them. Reela is wearing a bag around her back, along with a scabbard strapped to her left leg]
MALU: The queen's SkyWing?
REELA: You know me?
MALU: We agreed not to show our faces again.
REELA: We did. [crosses her arms] But I'm here for an offer. You tell me where Aeris went, I can go and fetch him back. I'll have him meet with Scarlet and you get the little NightWing.
HILDON: The dragonet?
REELA: Yes.
MALU: Don't be sure. That little girl has the most dangerous SkyWing on the continent. He'll-
REELA: I'm the only one Aeris talks to, so I'm the one who can bring him back. Look, I'm giving you guys a shot, but if you don't want to, I'll just get myself the hell out of here and find someone else.
[Reela backs away, turning around and opening her wings, but Malu stops her. Reela smirks, and she turns back to Malu]
MALU: Wait. You better bring him back.
REELA: I will. [nods] He'll listen.
HILDON: How are you gonna get out of here? You'll get shot out of the sky before you'll even make it to the mountains.
REELA: Who says I'm flying?
[scene cuts to Malu, Hildon, and Reela in a room of a destroyed bar. Malu spreads a torn map of Pyrrhia onto the table, looking as Reela slides a chair over and watches. Malu points at where they currently are, using a pencil to draw multiple marks of possible routes that Aeris took]
MALU: One of our guys noticed a weird imprint on the female SkyWing's snout.
REELA: What does it look like?
HILDON: Three curves, two stripes striking down the center. [looks at the map and then back at Reela] You know anything that looks like it?
REELA: [realizes] The Sand Imprint.
MALU: What imprint?
REELA: Hand me the pencil.
