Nearly a year and a half after this book was finished, here I am.
I feel as though I should explain some things, after editing. (Yes, I edited Reality. I changed some things, reworded some things, etc., so if you've read this before, you might want to have another read.)
Reality was not written to romanticize schizophrenia in any way. As shown, Louis obviously struggles with himself and those around him.
Mental illness is a real and serious thing that many people deal with, and I feel like fan fiction tends to put mental illness on a pedestal, making it seem cute or desirable. I hope that Reality may show some struggles of what it may be like to have a mental illness like Louis does. I also hope that a reader can walk away feeling changed, even in the slightest way, after reading.
Thanks for all the support I've gotten on this book, it really means a lot to me.
