[Vale: Mercer Laboratories #1]
Adam and Eve looked at the chamber. As they peered into the murky black pool, they could only wait for Jaune to recover.
"This seems unreal," Adam said, taken aback.
"I know," Eve replied.
Ever since Jaune started his crusade, they had seen him perform phenomenal feats. With time, it just seemed that he'd keep getting stronger and remain unstoppable.
Seeing him like this sent shivers down their spines.
"What could have done this?" Adam asked.
"Whitelight," Eve thought, remembering what Jaune said before he passed out. Before he even uttered the contingency plan.
"I think-"
*BZZZZZZZZZZZTTTTT!*
Adam and Eve's scrolls were buzzing. They looked at the screens, noticing the notifications:
"BLOOD FANG ON THE LOOSE IN MISTRAL!"
They opened their scrolls, only to watch a live stream of the Blood Fang Guild attacking a village.
"Damn it. One thing after another," Adam said.
"We have to get in contact with Lil' Miss," Eve said.
They left the chamber, heading to the control room.
[One Week Later]
[Vale: Mercer Laboratories #3]
In an underground sparring area, there was Junior clad in a tank top and joggers. He wielded his club, panting with exhaustion.
Before him was a bulky humanoid Grimm wielding a club. The Grimm and mob boss rushed to each other. Soon, they began exchanging blows, trying to knock away the other.
[Mistral: Spider's Tavern]
Lil' Miss glossed over the pictures on her table. Each photo showed a mangled corpse. From a glance, it looked to be the work of a mad animal.
A discriminatory, yet accurate response. These were the work of the Blood Fang's Guildmaster. His victims? High-Ranking Warriors.
"Damn. Some of these were A-Ranks," Lil' Miss thought.
She was tasked with observing and reporting any activity of the Blood Fang, while also making sure she didn't get bitten herself.
[Mistral: Industrial District]
The outside was a simple, metal warehouse. However, the inside painted a different picture. Inside, there were several Blazing Fang grunts. They repeatedly swung wooden bokkens, practicing the same form and technique for an hour now.
Standing on a platform overseeing their training was a hooded figure. She wielded a wooden bokken in her hand while having a katana sheathed at her left side. The hood covered her face in shadows. The only thing peering out were her crimson eyes.

Eve sat by the large monitor. She looked somewhat fatigued as it was quite a busy week...At least for her.
She sighed, remembering how she got here.
Eve looked at the screen before hitting the keys on the board. Soon, a file was displayed.
[Contingency Plan: Lost Shepherd]
Soon, a video played showing Jaune.
"If you are watching this video, it means that I am either dead, absent, or incapacitated. I hope it's the latter two, but that's just wishful thinking."
