***

On my way to school, doing my daily shortcut walk through the cemetery, it was the quickest way to school from dereks. But today I found something different, police officers everywhere and a grave digger on its side.

My first thought was Issac, I know last night he had a shift. I rush through the gates slipping past the police tape and rush to find out something, oh god pls don't be dead issac.

I stop in my tracks as my eyes find the back of the tall boy's curly head, oh thank god "Issac! Issac" his head shoots up and turn to me, he mutters something but I can't hear it I just see his lips move. What I'm not looking at his lip, shut up.

"Nova" I stop my walk towards him at the sound of a older gentleman that I love very much, I turn and give stiles dad a innocent smile "Noah, hi" he shakes his head,

"Honey, what you doing here?" He asks, i rock back and forth on my feet "shortcut, quickest way to get to school" he frowns

"Melissa house isn't in this direction?" He questions, shit he doesn't know about the deal Melissa and derek have.

"I stayed at a friends house last night, but they were sick so couldn't come to school" I lied, Issac covered his mouth with his hand hiding his smile knowing I was lying.

"Okay, we'll wait here and I'll give you a lift."

"It's fine sheriff, I can walk her." Issac spoke up, I gave him a smile. "That would be great thanks. Let me just ask you a few more questions and then your free to go." Stiles dad explained, Issac nodded.

That when I noticed another man stood next to Issac, with a glare that screamed i hate everyone. It was worse then derek glare.

"How'd you get the black eye, Isaac?" As I stood on the opposite side of Issac furthest away from want I gathered was his farther. I notice Issac tense just slightly at the sheriffs question. I hadn't even noticed his eye.
"School." Issac said like it was nothing, I frown

"School fight ?" Noah asked him, "Nah, lacrosse." Issac lied, I frown even more. I could tell when he lied. And it was always when he spoke up his home life.

"Lacrosse? You play for Beacon Hills?" Noah asked, "Yeah..." Issac nodded, "My son plays for the team. Well, I mean, he-he's on the team. He doesn't typically play. Not yet, anyway." I smile at the way Noah talks about stiles, before it fades into a sad smile. Realising I never had that. A dad who was proud of me. I had derek but it was never the same thing.

"Something wrong, Isaac?" I look up to Issac to see his eyes sifting between the trees, I look over and caught a glimpse of derek.

Oh

Wait

No

He wouldn't!

I quickly move away from the men and pull out my phone

Der🐺✨

I swear to god, Issac is a no!
Turn anyone else I don't care!
Not him. Please derek!
NOT HIM!!!

Just as I shut my phone off and put it back in my bag I caught the end of Issac conversation, "Her liver." I frown.

I wait till Issac was done and walked over to me.
"You ready?" He asked, i nodded.

"So what to do with her liver?" I questioned, he laughed "your so nosey" he replied, I gasped "me! Never" I laugh.

"No seriously?" I ask again, "someone stole a liver, super freaky" he explained.
