A/N: Finally things are getting interesting!!! I hope you enjoy!! I'm gonna try and upload the next chapter today aswell but idk if I'll get the time cause I write most of this during school- heh- anyways on to the story!

Hermione's P.O.V:

In 2 weeks it was the Easter holidays and everyone was excited, so was I, obviously. Most people were excited for the ball Professor McGonagall said we would be having on Easter. I was excited for that as well except for the fact that I had to help decorate it. Though it did mean I get more time with Draco. We had less and less time together since Harry, Ron and Ginny decided they liked my common room and Ginny and Ron wanted to watch more movies.

These last few weeks have been pretty chill, the Slytherins and the Gryffindors are being nicer to each other which is still a shock to everyone. Blaise keeps popping into my head all the time. It's kinda annoying but I guess it's nice to know that he'll always be there.

There hasn't been much news about Lucius Malfoy lately, everyone thinks he's gone into hiding. Some people still blame Draco for it whenever there's new news. Draco is probably the most miserable about his father being free, I can't imagine what it's like for him. He doesn't like talking about it but I can tell he's not happy.

Anyways, Harry, Ron, Ginny and I are sitting on the rocks near the lake, we're all facing the lake, the sun glinting off of the water gives it a magical look, like it's right out of a fairytale. Then again, it kinda is. I'm trying to come up with ideas for the Easter ball while Harry, Ron and Ginny talk about anything and everything. I glance over at Draco, he's sitting nearby under the shade of a tree with Blaise and their friends.

Draco's also trying to come up with ideas, I know because I made him promise he was gonna help me. Blaise keeps popping into my head trying to give me ideas Draco won't write down and I completely agree with him, Blaise has the worst ideas.

*HEY!! I do not!!* He screams in my head, I wince and glare at him.

I turn back to my spiral notebook, when I had taken it out, along with a pen, Ginny and Ron had stared in fascination and had asked me several questions. It was funny and also very hard to explain what a pen was, you'd think explaining what a pen is wouldn't be hard but when you're dealing with people who barely understand anything muggle related it is very hard.

I feel really relaxed for the first time in a while. I've been tense most of the year, I've had nightmares, which have almost stopped, and I was just waiting for something wrong to happen. I know Ron and Harry have also felt the same way because we've talked about it. All three of us finally feel relaxed.

And here comes something, or rather someone, to ruin our peace. Millicent Bulstorde. I sigh as she stops right in front of us. I look up at her and she had a smug look on her face. "Move, I want to sit there." She snaps, I raise an eyebrow at her. "Move, this isn't a place for mudbloods and blood traitors." She hisses when we don't move.

I'm about to retort when all the hair on my neck stands. "STUPEFY!!" And everything goes black.

A/N: That was like so short- 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Anyways- I hope you enjoyed- I'll get started on the next chapter! Bye Feathers!!
