With every life you have plucked
in your assurances closely tucked;
every breath you have snatched and stolen
amidst terror flowing fiery and molten;
every bond you have uncaringly severed
every tie you have sliced and untethered;
you are a lesson greater than any other
to let go and accompany you to ether;

but surrender for us comes not so easy
and your mention makes one quite uneasy;
for to leave with you to a home unknown
leaving everyone one has ever known;
births a distrust within mind inherent
so rarely does anyone greet you rident;
yet you are neither a villian nor a hero
only a messenger, perhaps a cavalero;

still beings alive cannot help but fear
with each thought of you tear 'n sear;
of the misery you have caused and still do
with a journal etched with everyone's due;
you are an embodiment of worst curses
you - rarely does anyone ever blesses;
for you seem to be an impending doom
a flower blossoming into a withering bloom;

yet those who know, know you feel
the anguish caused with each life you steal;
but the shouldered burden of your scythe
is the key to again make eternity kythe;
you know that It Will Haunt You and it does
for you're the divine who creates 'n undoes;
the cradle of finitely manifested breaths
and the eternal infinity of unbinding death.
