What do we see when we look at the sky
the flight of birds with bliss seeming nigh;
the moon breathing its last sweet lullaby
as dawn liberates dusk, kissing a goodbye;
the shyily blushing Sol in morn's hours wee
glowing gold amid lovers' fading ecstasies;
the ether ethereally clad in aerial amber veil
bejeweled with cloudy sighs of untold tales;of dreamy wishes and our whimsical desires
seeking love far and wide in hearts bemired;
but love, I wonder, if truly exists elsewhere
beyond nature and her miraculous spheres;
for tragically love seems to have withered
within deceptive intents of humans' seared;
doleful it is for love is only a heartbeat away
ever only a hairbreadth away, never to stay.༺✿༻
