Khushi waited for Arnav to acknowledge her presence, but once he felt her eyes looking at him, he bid farewell to Lavanya after confirming he would be back the next day, ignoring Khushi completely.

Khushi felt a pang in her heart with the way Arnav is ignoring her. Is there any way for her to change the dynamics of their situation? Wondering about the same, she moved into the house. Requesting Lavanya and her mother to look after NK she finally decided to visit HOME, and face the Gupta's head-on, there is no way she can escape meeting them.

Even if she wants to escape how to do it? what would she do? there is no place for her to go. Where can she keep NK?

She can't be living off Lavanya for much longer and even if there is Arnav in her life they are not on talking terms right now but isn't Arnav some 20-year-old himself, to what extent can he help? There is his father and his boss at work in the picture too.

She doesn't have much financial support to help herself with food and shelter, now adding taking care of NK to the list makes it even more impossible. She is still a minor, can she manage everything? Even if she tries to lower the standards of their living, on the basis of her earnings from working as a helper in a stationery shop. How will she provide for NK's education, she even dreamt of studying further or at least graduating, but now all those dreams are shattered, with no hope.

Now if she thinks back on her actions, she wonders if perhaps things would have been different if she waited for Arnav to come back before acting on NK's call. Perhaps they would have planned everything before taking the step. If Lavanya was not there where can she go with NK not to the HOME obviously, she doesn't have anyone whom she can lean back and trust in such situations, the thought just made her sad.

Gulping her emotions she stepped inside HOME, for now, maybe she can stay here and request NK to be kept safe with Lavanya until she finds a roof over their heads. The inmates have questioned her absence for the previous day, but the Gupta's are not in the vicinity and no one knows where they have been since morning.

Khushi made a small prayer to the almighty and started packing the necessities into the small cover bag. There are not many items nevertheless. Maybe she could keep the important items at Lavanya's place so that if at any time of the day she is thrown out of here she can at least have these, pocketing the little amount she has saved, she left informing the others she would be back in sometime.

She tried calling Arnav with the new device given to her by the same person, but there was no answer from the other side.
