TW: none!
Plot: takes place during year 3 when Harry leaves the Dursley's, he finds Malfoy walking the muggle streets and Draco offers to bring Potter home.

A/N I know they are young in year three so this chapter is just going to be wholesome and then figuring out feelings and such! I know they look older in the movie but I did a combination of their looks and age...

"No! She deserve what she got," Harry says angrily to Vernon, trying not to shout. Harry may or may not have turned his aunt into a giant human helium balloon, resulting in an upset Vernon.

Harry grips his wand tightly with one hand and the other is on his luggage. He's leaving the Dursley's. He's not sure where he's going to go till school starts but anywhere is better than here.

Vernon pauses for a moment before launching at Harry with his hands. Harry is quick to lift his wand, keeping Vernon back.

"Keep away from me," Harry says confidently, pointing the wand at his chest and pushing him back so he can start making his way towards the door.

"You're not allowed to do magic outside school," he says, cowering back. Harry keeps his wand at his uncles chest, not daring to lower it.

"Oh yeah? Try me," Harry challenges. He moves in front of the door now, his arm still stretched out, pointing his wand.

"They won't let you back now, you've no where to go," he points at Harry, trying to prove a point. Harry can't just leave, neither can he use magic at home!

"I don't care, anywheres better than here," he says annoyed. He's fed up with his aunt and uncle trying to control him, he's leaving for good. Perhaps he can find Ron or Hermione or somehow get to Hogwarts early.

Harry would do anything to see another wizard again, just to make sure the past two years weren't just one good dream. He would even be pleased to see his nemesis Draco Malfoy.

Before Vernon could respond, Harry is opening the door and storming out. It rained, making the street lights reflect on puddles. The sky is blue as it grows darker. The wind is cold, yet Harry rather be out in the freezing cold weather than inside his bed at the Dursley's.

As Harry walks he bitterly mumbles to himself, mocking his cousin and his aunt and uncle. Despite all of Harry's anger and annoyance towards the Dursley's, he's excited and relieved to be out on his own. He feels as if staying with the Dursleys is more than a struggle than finding a different place to stay.

Harry sighs and walks for about half an hour until he's in the middle of the city. Cars drive past him without stopping, none of them caring enough to stop and ask the boy on the sidewalk what he's doing all alone and with a large bag of luggage. By now it's pitch black outside and the only lights are from the street lamps, cars and a few places that are still opened, even though it's well past midnight.

Defeated, Harry turns into an empty alleyway. It's well lit the whole way through, so the wizard decides nothing bad could happen. Harry picks up the pace and walks through the alleyway. Just as he turns the corner, he spots familiarly blonde hair walking away from him.

Harry squints as the person gets further.

Harry being Harry, follows after the person, getting closer. He grips the handle on his luggage tightly and ignores his aching legs and sleepy eyes.

As he gets closer, he realizes the person is wearing an all black suit, his hair is so blonde to the point it's nearly white, his posture is straight and each step he takes is littered with confidence.
