Haerin sighs and puts her pencil down in exhaustion. She takes off her glasses and places them on the table in front of her.
She grabs the remote control and turns to the news, not sure what else to do with herself. She stares at the news and listens to the reports, not being too attentive to them due to her tiredness at this point. However, an interesting report catches her attention, as a photo of Minji and Danielle pops up on the news. Haerin pays close attention to the report and looks at the photo with growing curiosity.

Haerin stares at the TV in shock, her eyes widening as she sees the photo of Minji and Danielle. She whispers to herself, "They're rich? What the..."
Haerin blinks several times in disbelief as she processes the news. In particular, she's surprised that Minji and Danielle are attending the school for the first time in two years.
As more information comes to light about the two, Haerin finds herself wondering what else she didn't know about them. Their wealth and status seem to be far beyond her own in every way.
Haerin stares at the TV for a while in shock before turning it off. She tells herself, "Good for them," She then decides to go to sleep, feeling tired and having gotten little studying accomplished due to her earlier exhaustion. She hopes to get a fresh start tomorrow and to be able to focus on her studies once more.
The next day
Haerin slowly opens her eyes, having been asleep and only just waking up. She tries to locate the source of a ringing sound, her eyes feeling dry and weary. She reaches out to her countertop, feeling around with her eyes still closed in an attempt to locate her phone. She finally finds it and answers, feeling rather annoyed at the disruption to her sleep.
Haerin answers Hanni's call and is immediately shocked by Hanni's words. "Are you dressed? We have that test today, we can't be late," Hanni says on the other end of the line. Haerin's blood runs cold and her eyes widen insanely big. Hanni is right,
there is a test today, one that will determine which class she goes into, which could affect her educational path and the rest of her school life. The potential for failure or success hangs on the results of this test.

Haerin shoots up from the bed and frantically puts her school uniform on as soon as she hears Hanni's words on the other end of the line. She holds the phone under her chin to talk while she hastily dresses, "What the hell Hanni you just called??" she yells at Hanni as she quickly gets dressed. Hanni, on the other end, panics at her tone and responds, "What do you mean? I thought you'd be ready since you've been studying for this for months!!" Haerin can just make out Hanni's panicked voice on the other end of the line.
"Ah...F*ck!!" Haerin yells suddenly, surprising Hanni with her cursing. Hanni, on the other end of the line, holds back her laughter at the shock of hearing Haerin swearing. This is the first time she's ever heard Haerin curse or even really get mad. Normally, she's the calm and quiet one.
Haerin throws her phone onto the bed in a rage and quickly rushes out without having eaten or even prepared a lunch for herself. She puts her shoes on and shoves all her notes and books into her bag, ready to leave despite still being in a panic. She knows that she has to get to school as quickly as possible to have any hope of making it on time to take the test.
