The next couple of days were torture.
The vampires couldn't leave the house in fear of being ripped into shreads by the wolves who were threatening death every second.
To make things worse?
Milo hadn't fed properly in two weeks.
Most of the family were in similar situations as him, but they were older, more controlled, Milo was good at being near humans when he wasn't hungry.
Being hungry was a totally different thing.
Did that stop the newborn from being near his sister? Not at all.
The pain was worth every second, Bella was worth all of his time. She was comfortable, she felt safe with Milo next to her.
His gift came in handy whenever Bella felt an ounce of pain or sadness, Milo would pick up her bad emotions and place it upon him, giving her a wash of someone's calm right after.
Jasper hated it.
Milo was already suffering enough with his own feelings, he didn't need someone else's too.
But things only seemed to get worse, whenever Edward felt an ounce of sadness, Milo took it, when Carlisle was stressed, Milo took it.
The boy was a bundle of his own emotions along with the people he loved.
His mind wasn't his own person.
Milo fell quiet.

It distressed Jasper so much, scared that all of these knew emotions that didn't belong to his lover would potentially cause him a disorder much like Spencer's.
Even Spencer sat down to talk to Milo about it, but the newborn didn't listen.
Carlisle couldn't afford to be stressed out, he needed to look after Bella, his sister didn't deserve these emotions and he was only taking Edward's shitty ones away because it made Bella feel better knowing her husband felt good.
Though Milo really couldn't handle Edward being such an asshole to his sister anymore.
"In sickness and health, remember?" She had whispered, watching the way he looked at her with a sad expression.

"I'm sorry," Edward had frowned, walking out of the room right after.
Milo wanted to fight the man.

"Bella," Rosalie greeted with a warm smile, "I'm running you a bath,"

"Thank you," Bella smiled back, looking over to her brother, "Will you come with me?"
Milo was out of his seat in an instant, clenching his jaw and taking one of Bella's hands as Rosalie took the other.
Milo held his sister tightly, looking away respectfully when Rose helped undress her, putting a robe over Bella's skinny body instead.
He looked back when Bella was sat on the toilet seat, leaning over the bath to add some of her favourite salts in the warm water.

"Do you want me to stay or do you want me to go Bella?" Milo wondered, his voice quiet.

"Stay, please," She begged, standing from the seat then beginning to take her robe off.
Milo nodded, watching her in the mirror, seeing how she slowly slid the robe down her arm.
She was so skinny.
She wasn't eating and Milo felt her hunger too, Bella looked like the embodyment of his hunger.
Though suddenly, she was pulling the robe up covering herself.
Milo looked to see why.
Edward was staring at her, a broken expression on his face.
Milo walked out of the bathroom, his face like thunder.

"Be nice," Bella called out after him, knowing her brother too well.
Edward looked at his brother with a small frown, but Milo didn't pay any attention to it, instead, he grabbed Edward's wrist and pulled him out of the house, close to it by the forest.

"What's your problem man?" Milo hissed, his eyes like daggers when staring at the boy.

"She's dying Milo!" Edward expressed, his eyes wincing, "You're just standing there and letting her, she's letting that thing kill her!"

"First of all, that thing is your kid Edward, second of all, I want Bella to live, but this is her decision," Milo frowned, running his hand through his hair.

"Where's my decision in this? That kid is half of me, Bella is my world!" Edward told, his hand throwing up, pointing in the direction of the house.
Milo couldn't believe his ears.
