He knew she would call him ridiculous for even debating this. If the roles were reversed, she wouldn't think twice about settling in and quietly reading a book. She was so carefree and with boundaries being a mere suggestion if they even existed at all. But he was not her, he was himself.

Just as he resolved himself to leave and settle in the living room the lump on the bed groaned and shifted. A soft heart-shaped face was now facing him causing him to halt his steps. He watched as her brows pinched and nose crinkled as the light now in her direction shined on her face. Then her lashes fluttered open revealing slivers of blue.

"Sess- Sessh?"
