New Beginnings

Chapter 1 - I'll Never Let Go

Rose POV:

All alone in the dark, cold water in the middle of the Atlantic lye me and Jack, we were in a hallucinatory state because of the freezing temperatures but I started hearing a muffled shout so I tried to look around but I was practically stuck to the piece of wood that Jack found for me so I had to put in a lot of effort which is hard and then I spotted a boat.

Finally, a boat came to rescue us! Maybe me and Jack can have our happily ever after like we planned before this tragedy occurred? I looked down at Jack and he looked lifeless... Could he be dead...? Surely he's not...? "Jack," I said with a slight smile, But I didn't get a response back.. Could jack of passed away from the temperatures? My smile faded after I didn't get a response.
"There's a boat jack"
I said with tears in my eyes, still without a response. Then it hit me, Jack died...The love of my life just died from the freezing temperatures, but for some reason I didn't want to believe that happened so I tried to wake him up again, knowing that there's no chance he's still alive... "Jack...?"
Still no response.

I looked up and realised the boat was starting to leave. Jacks gone and so is the boat. I was just ready to give up right then and there and just die and the middle of the ocean with Jack because he was my reason to live, but now he's gone.

I lye on the door and just began crying, but jacks words kept replaying in my head "You're gonna get out of here. You're gonna go on... And you're gonna make lots of babies. And you're gonna watch them grow. You're gonna die an old... an old lady... warm in her bed. Not here... Not on this night... Not like this. Do you understand me?"  And about him thanking me, also, our promise that we made "You must, You must do me this honour, you must promise me that you'll survive, that you won't give up no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise." And I promised that I wouldn't.

What was I doing not sticking to Jacks promise, I've got to survive this somehow. So I had one last look at Jack, kissed his hands, and then released him into the water "I'll never let go, I promise" I said with tears in my eyes as I watched him drift down to the bottom of the ocean.

Now I've got to get the boat to come back, I started looking around and then I saw a whistle on a dead person so I got off the door and used all my strength and energy I've got left to get to that whistle and try to catch the boats attention because I will make it out alive no matter what.

I swam over to the whistle and tried my hardest to make a sound, the first few attempts did nothing but then sound started coming out and the boat started coming back. 
Finally this was it I'm going to make it out of here. The officers on the boat lifted me on because I was too weak to lift myself and all that was left to do was wait for someone to come and find us but for now all know is that I'm keeping jacks promise and that's all that matters.

I Know this is mainly the movie but I need to start it here otherwise it goes too far into it and it needs a backstory
