ROSES POV:
As I got lifted into the Carpathia, I was still trying to grieve the loss of Jack. I knew it wouldn't be easy but I didn't think it would be so hard. I got given blankets and soup but I didn't have much of an appetite. I looked around and there were people reuniting, looking for their partners, and also grieving the losses like me. It's all a bit unbelievable because it was known as the 'unsinkable ship' which is what made this tragedy so shocking.
An hour or two later, I was still trying to process everything that just happened until I heard someone coming down to the 3rd class section. I heard someone saying that they 'won't find any of their lot down here' followed by a familiar voice and that's when I knew who it was. I didn't want to jump to any conclusions but I had a good idea who it was. They started frantically looking around and then I heard my name being shouted. I quickly hid my face in my blanket knowing it was Cal. I didn't want anything to do with him or my family after what had happened on the Titanic, except he didn't go to me, he went to another woman. I looked for a second to see if it really was Cal, it was, and then I saw that he thought that it was me and then he continued to look around for a few minutes before heading back up to the first class section. After that incident I decided to keep as low of a profile as possible in case anyone else comes looking for me.
Sorry this is really short I didn't really know what to write and it gets better soon it just needs a buildup
