Stacey's POV

It's been 2 months since Xavier and I got married
Life with Xavier still wasn't easy but it was no longer brutal like the beginning
I don't love him yet but I'd grown to have a connection with him
I understood him better than before

"Wife am off to work" he said coming downstairs with his usual black fitted suit
He walked to the kitchen where Rada and I were discussing and making breakfast then he buried his head in the crook of my neck

Rada immediately turned around and left giving us privacy
"Uhm.....Xavier you don't wanna be late again" I said giggling because he started tickling me

"Why can't I just work from home" he said pouting and I giggled again at his silly face
"Well....." I said putting my hands around his neck
"..you won't get any work done because you will be too distracted and again I already work from home" I said the last part a little low because even though Xavier has given me the privilege of working from home I still don't like it and he knows I don't

Everytime I spoke about continuing my work at the company he will get so angry saying I would run away from him
I really don't know if I have a future with Xavier but one thing was certain
I won't leave Xavier's side until he completes his therapy and he is completely stable
I promised him that much

"We haven't been spending enough time lately and it's because of me" he said bring my hands to each side of his face
"Listen..... I am so proud of you" I said but he still looks down
"Yeah...and we haven't been spending enough time together" I said this time I pouted

"I promise tommorow will be just the two of us......oh fuck" he said placing his hands on his head
"What's the matter"I said getting worried
"I have a therapy session tommorow" he said looking embarrassed he didn't like going to the psychiatrist
He is such a baby

"Then I'll follow you tommorow then after that...." I said leaning to his ear
"...ill buy you some icecream" I said giggling
He just smiled at me staring at me making me feel uncomfortable

"Can I kiss you?" He said in a low voice
We haven't had sex for almost a month because he promised not to force himself on me ever again
I thought he was bluffing when he said that but he wasn't

Last week he walked in on me naked and he kept on staring at me not moving
The bulge on his pants was surely going to be uncomfortable
I tried covering myself because I was really starting to get uncomfortable
He just left the room slamming the door I felt so bad and I don't know why

"Sorry for asking I......" he said but I cut him off
Giving him a kiss on the lips he was in utter shock but soon he recovered and he dominated the kiss

He brought me closer using his large arm to pull on my waist
He raised my night gown up
When he saw I was out of breath he kissed down to my neck kissing me as though his life depended on it

Once he reached my lace panties he pulled on them and that was when i became alarmed
I tried moving away from his grip on me was too strong he was just too powerful

"Xa....Xavier" I said stuttering
He continued kissing my neck then my jaw
I pushed his shoulders once more and that's when he bulged
He raised his head looking at my fear filled eyes

"You are...go...going....to....be late" I said to him
"Am sorry" he said so tenderly
He was really broken and it kills me knowing I caused this

"Bye" he said walking out of the house not waiting for me to respond
I released a breath I didn't know I was holding until he left the house

I sighed then went back into the kitchen
I continued with the breakfast Rada and I started
After a minute or two Rada came back into the kitchen

I smiled a little at her and she returned it
"Don't you think is about time you give in to him" she said to me
"I can't" I said in a whisper
"But why" she said raising a voice just a little
"Why.....he fucking killed my bestfriend in the most brutal way ever, he abused for months never showing me mercy and you say I should forgive him" I returned in the same tone rada used on me

"Stacey.....he wasn't in his right state of mind at that time he regrets every single thing he has done to you and he wants a new life with you" Rada said wiping the tears from my face
"How can I bring back those months he tortured me, hell am the one in need of a therapist. Everytime he speaks or make the smallest advances on me I flinch" I said trying hard not to break down in tears

"Do you love him" she said looking me in the eyes
I closed my eyes searching for the best answer
"I....I don't know" I said running out of the kitchen

Once I was in my room
Yes he gave me my own room even though every single night he sneaks in my bed and cuddles me then leave early the next morning

He thinks I don't know and I also don't know why I allow a murderer to sleep with me
I closed my eyes and sigh
I needed a shower
I stripped infront of the bathroom mirror and I examined my body

The belt marks were long gone but there was a tiny scar on my thigh reminding of that terrible day
I looked really pale and I had gain little weight on but in the right places

I opened my skincare cabinet and started applying them
During the past months Xavier kept ordering unlimited skincare products for which I really appreciated

After I was done with everything I put on a grey sweatshirt and shorts it was really comfy
Then I opened my laptop getting ready for my work to be sent

The company I worked for was a multimillion dollar security company
The salary I got per week was enough to build a house and pay for all taxes

I even had my own bank account but of course even though I was now independent Xavier still took care of all our needs
Never had I ever needed the money I worked for
When my task came in I drowned into my world of seriousness not paying attention to anything else

It was now 4 PM and I was done with my task for today I submitted it then went downstairs and saw rada was making mac and cheese
From what I observed lately Xavier really loves mac and cheese

"Can I continue with this you can take the evening off" I said to her and she just nodded with a smile then she exited the house leaving me all alone in this humongous house

When I was done with the mac and cheese I heard the door open and came in my husband
He looked really tired but immediately his beautiful grey orbs landed on me his face lightened up

"I missed you" he said at the doorway and I tried to contain my blush
""What's that divine smell" he asked walking to the kitchen
I thought he was talking about the mac and cheese but no he was talking about me

He turned me around to face him the he hugged me
"I really did miss you" he said again this time I knew what he wanted
He wanted me to say it back I think I'll pull his legs a little
"Well I didn't miss you" I said and his body froze

He pulled me away with a bear grip on my elbows
"Jeeez I was just kidding okay.....I missed you too" his body relaxed and he hugs me again
He was still obsessive of me
When is this gonna end

I pulled away from the hug
"Look at what we are having for dinner" I said showing him the bowl of mac and cheese
"Oh wow" he said walking to the bowl
"Oh no you don't" I said taking his hands away
"Whattt" he literally whined

"I haven't dished it yet so go freshen up before you come back I'll be done" I said feigning seriousness
"Okay wife" he said pecking my nose making me turn beetroot red

After I was done setting the table with our food I poured some fruit wine in our cups and that was when Xavier came back downstairs wearing only grey sweatpants
Damn he looked so hot
Wait what am saying

I sat down at the table and so did he
Immediately, he started devouring his dinner and I just watched him at this pace he was going to choke
And I was right he started gagging on the cheese and I stood up to get him some water

As he drank the water I pat his back
When he was done choking
I burst out laughing his face was a little red from the coughing
After a while of laughing I felt a nauseous and ran to the bathroom
