there are very few moments when a racetrack is silenced. you don't want to be there when something happens that causes this. you don't want to be involved in something that causes this. Millie Norris had been there. She had experienced being involved in the act which silenced the whole fan base and racing community. never again did she want to be in that position, but never did she imagine she would be in the outside position, looking at the screens, begging to see movement off her boyfriend and her brother, and yet here she was. She was crying in the mclaren garage, Oscars arms wrapped right around her as she cried into his chest. She looked up, wiping her tears away, forcing the rest to hold back. Looking up at the screen, she saw a steward holding someone up as they limped away from the fire. Lando. All through the garage she could hear sighs of relief, and she felt the same, but ollie was still in there. She couldn't move her eyes away from the screen, begging to see him also being moved away.
A lot of the fire had been put out.
There he was, emerging from the crash, a steward holding him. The steward laid him down on the floor, clearly trying to speak to him. He signalled others over as he began to remove his helmet. She had seen enough. Sprinting out of the garage, she ran down the pitlane, ignoring any calls coming her way. The ambulance pulled in as she ran towards it, Lando walking out with a slight limp and a scratch on his hand. She sprinted up to him, wrapping her arms around him as he did for her. "he's ok mil" he whispered "he spoke to them, he's just very winded and slightly knocked out, but he's ok" she cried even more, knowing he was ok. the relief kicked in.
Another ambulance pulled into the pitlane. She backed away from Lando as some more medics and mclaren staff rushed over to him. Many people had come over to watch as the secibd ambulance came to a halt, nobody daring to move any closer.
Apart from Millie.
Ollie emerged from the ambulance, a medic helping him as he limped. He had a bruise on his head, despite having wearing a helmet. When his eyes connected with Millie's, he let go of the steward as they rushed towards each other, engulfing each other in the biggest hug ever. She buried her head in the crook of his neck as he rested his on top of hers. She cried more then ever as he slowly ran his hand up and down her back, and placing the odd kiss to her head. She moved away, placing both hands on the side of his face. "i- i thought i'd lost you a-and i'm so glad t-that your okay" she said through the tears he was also crying at this point as he smiled at her. "your not getting rid of me that easily" he pulled her in by her waist and pressed a sweet kiss to her lips, a small gesture to let her know everything was going to be fine.
"however" he said she moved away giving him a confused look "your brothers a dick" he said "w-what?" "have you not seen what happened?" she wiped her eyes so her vision was less blurred before shaking her head from side to side. "um no why?" "your not gonna like it mil"
she turned her head to see her brother who was now talking to carlos and max as they checked he was ok, before looking back to ollie. "i don't wanna see this do i?" ollie sighed before shaking his head ———————————————————————
