chapter 11 - birthday boy

*Somi perspective*

"Hm?"

I woke up in Y/N's arms as he cradled me without his shirt.

Ever since I turned 19, he's asked for permission to take off his shirt when he sleeps. I don't know if he's more comfortable since I was now legal age because he didn't want it to be weird when we slept when well, I wasn't legal yet. I mean. We haven't done anything at all. Like anything beyond, holding hands, kissing,making out and hugging. I do feel the occasional, uhm-

Long, hard morning wood he has that pokes me in the morning, but when I bring it up, he just gets up and ignores what I said since I think he's just being mature. I mean, I think he just wanted to wait and not be weird about it since well, I'm only a year younger than him and he just wants to do it at the right time.

But today was his birthday, he hasn't mentioned it ever since but today, me and Yerim has prepared a surprise for him.

I got up from bed as I yawned as I grabbed my phone off the nightstand

Somi - mhm? 7am?

And I saw the text from Yerim

I got up from his fingers as I ran my finger through his back, those scars he mentioned as I looked at them but I felt nothing but guilt for him as he had it so rough his whole life. Losing your best friend and then off to kill without a consciousness as he watched friends die?

That's something you just can't rid your memory of.

I got up as I pried myself away from his arms as he turned around as he talked in his sleep

"Mhmmm Somi~"

I smiled a bit as I got up and went to the bathroom to do my business and quickly washed up as I got out and changed into some clothes.

He looks so damn cute asleep.

I gave him one of the bears as I kissed him on the cheek as he hugged it with his entire body

Somi - I'll be back honey~

I smiled and I walked out the door as I called for a taxi to bring me over to the location Yerim told me to go to.

After a while, I made it there as I went inside as I met her there

Somi - good morning~

Yerim - good morning Somi

We hugged as we sat down at a table as I quickly order a coffee and got some breakfast as she did the same

Somi - so what are we going to do for him?

Yerim - Well, I have the cake right here

She took out a cake from her bag all boxed up and freshly made that she had made the night before

Somi - wow!

Yerim - baked it myself

Somi - that looks so good!

Yerim - mmhm. Did you get him anything?

Somi - I actually haven't, surprisingly.

Yerim - I got him something though

Somi - what'd you get him?

Yerim took out something from her bag as she put it on the table

Somi - that is something wow.
